Let's hope the first half of our 1st innings is better then the last Shield match v Victoria.

i doubt it could get worse...then again i recall a match against nsw where we made 29 or a similar score

And only two double figure scores in both innings combined!!!

Without looking, they were scored by Tom Plant and Greg Blewett in the 2nd innings.

I think it was Callum Ferguson not blewy. I know both he and Plant made 100s in that game (1st each?). Reckon there could have been more double figure scores but not sure. I dont think Blewett played as I think Nathan Adcock might have been captain. I recall him playing if he wasnt captain and getting the highest score (8) of any batsman in the first innings. Not that it has anything to do with the Queensland game.

So that means:
Plant made a century - the only thing we agree on :)
It was Ferguson and not Blewett who made the other century - you were right
Blewett did play (I knew he did) and I was wrong again (he made 11), and that's where I got Blewett in my head from with my first statement as the only other player to get into double figures
You were correct about the first innings - Adcock made 8; top scorer
But incorrect about the captaincy - it was Manou

And you are right; it has nothing to do with this match. ;)

One more thing; I honestly cannot think how Adcock stayed around for so long? He only made one first class century and that wasn't even for the Redbacks!

Where is Trent Kelly at? Really rate this kid but always cops an injury at the wrong time.

Some of these swing speciallists in the QL bowling attack might struggle in sunny Adelaide
Klinger is 2*
If he gets past 35 runs I feel he will make between 100-200 depending if he has batting support

I will be at the oval later today
Hopefully I will bump into QLD 12th man Nathan Rimmington
I will take with me some razor blades and shaving cream to give to him
Why else isint he in India ...

SA 1/68 (24 overs)
Smith 21 (5 x 4s, 17 balls) Just what SA need in their team to make them a bit more watchable. just needs to stay at the crease for a few hours tho.
Harris 31* (76 balls)
Klinger 15* (54 balls)
