Arshavin was miles offside when he scored. ;)

It was a nice finish though.

Arsenal fans at the emirates are always quiet, it seems to be the travelling fans that go to arsenals games away from home are the ones with the voices . You can hear a pin drop sometimes at the emirates

A great display of the 'Beautiful Game' Saturday night with 18 shots on target.... only some world class keeping from robinson kept the Gunners score under double digits

Was great to see Thomas back and he showed glimpses of his class esspecially with that cross on the outside of his foot

The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

good news for gunners fans is sami nasri could be match ready for the trip to west ham in a few weeks after the broken leg at pre season training. Mind you we seem to get injuries after international breaks more then other sides and we normally play rat shit following international breaks so i dont know what to expect for the game at home to birmingham.

nicc win by the boys today. Although it would have been made easier if the back pass that was given against birmingham which was not a back pass had have gone in the game would have been dead well before the 3rd goal by arshavin late.

very unlucky if that back pass foul that was not a back pass had have gone in against birmingham

2 - 2 at upton Pk, after Arsenal took a 2 goal lead into 1/2 time. to be fair I;ve just seen one of the softest penalties ever given, after 17 stone cole fell over.

Geez, EPL is shite.

Arsenal were lucky to hang on in the end. It's thier soft underbelly that will cost them any chance at a tilt at the title. thry need to get tougher.

The defending for the 2nd goal was appauling. Kings half arsed effort and no one putting in the yards to get back made it easy for Fabregas.

Good effort by him, but goal of the season it wasn't.

wether or not it was bad defending its was still a great goal. I disagree it will go close to being one of the best of the season. But who knows we still have 28 games left

Horse parts to be used on Van Persie

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie's trip to the Balkans for placenta therapy on his ankle injury has caused predictable consternation.

The Dutchman has taken drastic action after suffering ankle ligament damage playing for Netherlands against Italy on Saturday.

Van Persie said of the doctor: "She is vague about her methods but I know she massages you using fluid from a placenta."

Call Early Doors old-fashioned, but having horse placenta smothered all over your limbs doesn't sound like the kind of thing you want your doctor to be vague about. However, it is a tabloid sub-editor's dream ('Well, he is a placenta-forward', 'Let's hope he doesn't suffer a foetal injury', 'As treatments go, it's womb or bust').

When a Dutch TV presenter told Sky Sports News of the treatment yesterday, the channel was so impressed it immediately slashed its projected recovery time from six weeks to two, before mysteriously losing faith in the power of placenta and settling for four to six

Hahahaha. Robin Van Horsie.
