Enfield A's atm are struggling yeah being up a division isnt that easy the plus side is we back to 4 teams which i think only one of club has that so its a good sign for future seasons A grade i guess shouldnt be the oldest players in the club?

Yeah it is good your back to 4 sides, on paper i think your A grade looks better than its performing anyway, bit disappointing about the indians

Thanks to the C grade for lending 3 players to fill in to field for the A grade. Meaning we took the field with 11. Unfortunately these guys were not able to bat, for obvious reasons. 2 of the indians have A grade talents, but unfortunately when they don't rock up, it really depletes the A grade.

Enfield A grade would easily defeat their C or D sides.
However its not possible to put two sides in the same division. This often leads to a club becoming split. So consequently Enfield competes in Divs 2,3,4 and 5.

I've noticed both CM and Enfield are stuggling up in Div 2. However this is not uncommon, new division, tougher sides, it will take some time to get settled, since the former Div 3 sides are still trying to find the right mix for Div 2. Although i think Div 2 is the division for Enfield A grade. Enfield is a big club and has lots of potential moving forward. Enfield A grade v Rose Park this weekend it will be a good challange.

how do you think Enfield will far against Rose Park then? full team this week?

IMHO i think if Gully and Hughes on song they will tear through RP top order how ever i think Enfields bowling depth isnt very good from there and i think their batting will rely heavily on the top order and Woolcock & Reynolds to make runs..

I think RP will win..

yes Gully and me open the bowling.. Gully is a lot quicker than me... and PG we do have a little bit of depth in our bowling just need to start performing... Hill should return this week and we might even steal Uerhn from the B grade maybe??? so still a bit of depth and we all kow Enfields batting is our weakest part of our game but on paper we should make more runs than we do!!
see ya Monday night PG if ya train??

Highly unlikely Trav will play A Grade. He stated when he came to the club he wants to play where Onion Laird plays cos he doesn't really know anybody else and is carrying an injured shoulder.

Hill handy, Miller has nice pace but bowls far too full IMO.

Travis Uern will be an interesting one, see if Enfield stick to there guns or whether they let him dictate terms..

Yeah hopefully should be back at training Monday..

Yeah openers, Hughes moves ball both ways, Gully been around forever, very talented left hand bowler, assoc bowler and played in the past two nationals, bit awkward to play when he is on song, he will tie you down and frustrate you, the bloke from the other end will do the damage ;)

In a big call up, Onion Laird has been promoted to the A Grade alongside Travis Uern. Laird is said to be happy with his progress already although it may not be on form yet morale. He could raise the spirit of the dead! in what will be a very close game Im thinking with there ins, Enfield by a finger nail!

Are you joking???? No offence but if i were a gambling man id say it was more a matter of Uern wanting to play with Laird so take one to get the other, bit like Carlton with Cloke!

Rose Park by a country mile..

bat well out your crease, get forward early and alot of the swing is negated, ball is then in the slot to hit straight down the ground, did it for years
