grub had a big go at Tiger by the sounds.

grub also suggested everyone ring up ch 7 and fox and give them a spray for not showing tiger live.

BADDELEY, Aaron 2.20
APPLEBY, Stuart 2.60
COLTART, Andrew 4.15

Think Coltart is some value here. Neither Badds or Apples are playing too flash.

If this is Tiger getting accustomed to the course he is going to blow them away in the coming rounds.

Yep. Can't see him losing unless it blows up tomorrow arvo and he doens't handle the wind.
With benign donditions, the course is defenceless against Tiger.I don't think he would have taken the Driver out too many times.

Sure am ;)
The defining moment would was always going to be the Pro-Am and then the first 9 holes of Rd1, to see how he had settled in & if he had taking a liking to it. I think he has answered that. From here I doubt anyone is good enough to catch up him.
Can still get $1.80 on Betfair.

Tiger bogeys the last to finish 6 under, maybe not enough to be the leader at the end of the day

Seriously finding it incredibly difficult to watch the coverage with Eddie McGuire making a mess of himself.

Hopeless.

Turn on the golf, salivating at the thought of getting to watch the great man in action.

We get Eddie talking with marbles in his mouth about Tiger. We get a brutally swift run through of Tigers round, WITH SPOILERS given crudely by Eddie..."watch out, he birdies the next three!!".

Then we get a brief potted history of Tiger. Like we don't know that already. That could have been time spent watching more of Tigers round.

Then we get a bit of golf, with Eddie still banging on, completely stuffing the rhythm of the commentary team, interjecting with hopeless claptrap, and calling every missed putt "unlucky".

Ouch. I might try again tomorrow.

And I though Seven's coverage was bad.

Ch9 (Eddie McGuire) takes the cake.

Just took some of the $180 on offer for Rick Kulacz on Betfair. Wasn't much available, so had to take a bit of the $81.00 on TAB aswell. 3 under, with a morning round tomorrow, he can be very, very close to leading it by lunch-time tomorrow.

Off early tomorrow morning, he gets the run of the race with favourable conditions early - Softish greens and no wind.
