Well done Matty Richardson on a fine career. When even the opposition fans love you, you must be doing something right. And why are so many non Tigers a fan of Richo? Becauase he wasn't a robot and he showed his emotion on the field in an era of robots. Much like the Fev does on field but Richo unlike the Fev isn't a wanker off it.

With no Richo, the AFL is definitely the poorer for it.

Richo has been my favourite player for over a decade, its a pity it had to end this way and he didn't get a chance to get the send off he deserved, I think he could have filled the MCG with fans if they knew he was going to play his last match.

I agree as well. He was a fine player to watch and didn't fit the mould that the clubs like to have the players in nowadays. He was one of the few characters remaining in the AFL.

Richo you will be missed.

If he is still up to it at AFL level then he could be more than useful in the Blues defence, espically with the other young defenders still developing.
