A very pro-active move IMO, unfortunately some good players could just be having a poor run. I remember years back I couldn't buy a wicket in the PDCA and got a run in the association team where I took 5/8 or something like that, sometimes it just needs a big game to get you up and running again.

What CUSA side will that be? I thought SAMCA, the new cusa, hadn't got it up and running as well as saying they won't be providing the same services, such as shirts, to the associations and that they will have to foot the bill themselves.

Its PDCA cusa side Bloods :?

And hopefully it can go ahead so we can get a game between the associations

Yeah it is SAMCA, the dates haven't been finalised yet though, we still call it CUSA because we're so yesterday and most of us can't spell the longer word.

That is great to hear LM. I know our boys really look forward to the game day. More so the drinking that occurs after but the game itself is pretty good!

CUSA had already decided no shirts this year, SAMCA were just taking on the same policy.

I believe PDCA have extracted 12 shirts from SAMCA for their team. Nothing like fighting over the big things in life...

There may be some truth in what you heard, I heard it was going ahead at the PDCA delegates meeting on Wednesday night. We have the Barossa league close to us, we could play them once a year and still satisfy the urges to play representative cricket, IMO it has become a bit of a chore with the extra games, nevertheless it is still good to draw comparisons to other associations, it just means our best 11 cricketers probably don't represent the PDCA. a one off game would be more attractive.
We used to have a great day out in the 90's when we played Independants or back in the 80's we used to travel to the Riverland for a great day.

If smac isn't sure, I am, I think former might be the key word in your comment.

Yes we have a great deal of trouble getting our associations best 11 cricketers to represent the ASCA over the course of 3 games. If it were a once off game we may have a better turn out from the better players.

I take it you don't read the BLCC thread then when you post :D BTW, just because they are not official doesn't mean they are not accurate.
