I reckon Waratah's Secret is a huge show in the Winterbottom Stakes.

Ran 68 secs over 1200m two starts back, a time Lucky Secret hasn't ever ran close to.

Sure the tracks are firmer, but that will be Lucky Secret's downfall. His injury plagued legs can't handle the firmer surfaces.

Lucky Secret scratched, guess the track was too firm for her. Surprise, surprise... What a waste of a trip.

Waratah's Secret now a near certainty. Only rival now is Ortensia who comes off mile run.

Bondarchuk in the 5th tomorrow at Morphettville should go close too. nice weight relief. Interesting he steps back in distance though. He should fill a place at least.
