Good get Dutchy :) . While I tipped the Hawks in the NBL tipping comp :( , thought this would be a very, very close game. In the end, a thumping for Adelaide. Could it be the start of a slow slide for the Hawks?

Thats the angle Im going to take for this season, some teams are being over rated, Hawks are one of them....CK did you see my brutal loss on the weekend on the Wildcats? Up by more than 20 at one stage and didnt even end up covering the +3.5 :(

Did see that Dutchy, felt for you with that one. Gold Coast are going to play a big role in shaping the finals this year though, with that multi-faceted attack. Shootouts favour them if anything, with so many options. A little like Golden State - don't mind coughing up big scores if they can get one more point.

General observation on tonights game - reckon these teams (Adel and Townsville) are quite capable of going over that game score of 171.5, and wouldn't be shocked to see this turn into a real shootout. I rate Townsville very highly despite a couple of hiccups of late and if Adelaide can get over them, their title chances will take a real boost.

Looked good after a 33 point first term, but 155 in the last three terms  . If it gets into a shootout situation, Townsville are a very dangerous team to run into. Still really like them as title smokies, with Melbourne seemingly imploding. I'm expecting Wollongong to come right back to the pack with the second half of the year mainly away games and just not sure about Perth's ability to really match it in a tough shootout situation (would certainly take them in a lockdown style game though).

On that, Perth v Gold Coast - that 172.5 game score looks awfully high to me over in Perth, even allowing for Gold Coast being quite capable of firing off 90+ in the right situation.

Agreed, -8.5 looks very generous over there. Suspect that Perth will look to shut down the likes of Harvey and Maxey. If those two can be restricted, it would need Ayinde Ubaka to fire off 25+ - a big ask for a player with a top score of 29 in college ball.

Stephen Weigh has shown he is capable of 20+ for Perth, along with Kevin Lisch - one of the most underrated imports in the NBL. Throw in Shaun Redhage, and a score over 90 looks quite possible for the Wildcats.

Good get on Cairns, Dutchy. They are very good at the lockdown and while this looks the end of finals action for them now, be really wary of them at home in the final rounds. Mind you, getting over 85 is proving their big mountain.

For what its worth, reckon the Crocs will upset Perth tonight, despite being in Perth....

The 36ers/Melbourne game really hard to line up. Wouldn't be at all shocked to see this go into overtime, but do think both teams can easily fire off 85+ also.

Cant see why the total in Perth is so high, this game could easily be under 150 points

Perth/Crocs under 172.5
$220 @ $1.91

Was hoping for a smaller line the Adelaide, will stay out
