The Woodville West Torrens Football Club would like to announce Kym Hodgeman and Bob Cross as Assistant Coaches to our Senior and Reserves teams respectively for the 2010 season.
Kym Hodgeman
Hodgeman played 244 games for Glenelg and 91 games for North Melbourne during a decorated career which spanned 16 years, in which he won 4 Best and Fairest Awards (Glenelg 3 - 1977, 78 and 89 North Melbourne 1 - 1984) a Magarey Medal (1978) and was named All Australian in 1979.
He coached Glenelg in 1991 and 1992 after Graham Cornes left to coach the Adelaide Crows, taking them to a losing Grand Final in 1992. Although having no formal coaching positions since this time, Hodgeman has maintained a keen interest in the SANFL competition and has acted in various specialist positions on an adhoc basis.
Kym will assist League Coach Michael Godden on a ‘full time’ basis, attending all training sessions as well as having a role on match days.
Bob Cross
During a coaching career that has spanned 32 years, Bob Cross has had the honour of coaching the All Australian Amateur team on 3 occassions, including 2 tours of Ireland, and the SA Amateur team on 9 occassions.
The majority of his time coaching in the SAAFL has been spent at Woodville South where he has led the Club to 4 premierships during his tenure. Bob will be assisting Reserves Coach Craig Smith and will provide the coaching group with some added experience.
Well done Eagles an old timer(no offence meant mr hodgeman sir

To me it smells like someone is thinking in the head office a very good thing if u ask me.
Well done Eagles
Fulltime over parttime any day of the football week
I would think it would be a blessing for the recruiting section of the club alone.
Cheers
