Personally, I would love to see a rematch, but Mundine's speed is still beyond the Machine.
He knows it too. Hell, Green should know it as well.
Memories of Mundine taunting him mid-bout should stick around.

He wouldn't have to fight Mundine then, because that achievement in itself would far outweigh anything Mundine has done, considering he has only fought two bit fighters throughout his career.

Man, if I'm a pissant. He's a cracker ant. I don't give a damn
You're talking about a rematch with Danny Green, but a lot of fighters I've fought were way easier than Danny Green. He ain't even a great notch on my record. I tattooed him.

If anything, Green beating 'The Executioner' would probably make calls for a Mundine rematch louder.
In that scenario, the bout would (should!) be on Green's terms.
But given the weight difference a rematch is highly unlikely...

I will admit he outboxed Green when they fought with his little doo-flicky jabs, but the whole fight Green was only one hook from knocking him out.
He never got the shot in, but points wouldn't have mattered if Green landed one.
Mundine just boxed smarter. He didn't stop Green, he simply outscored him.

Oi also look at Greens record, of 31 fights only 5 well known fighters of decent talent, one was Mundine, one was RJJ and twice was Beyer.. Maybe we should say Green fights bums?
