Has Leigh Kruger left South Adelaide. He played some good footy in 2006.

They lost him at Vili's Cafe on South Rd....

That puts the bloods in the box seat to get him, then :D

would be a struggle to even get to westies as its a good 5 mins walk away

they are buying him a golf cart

and a key to the gate off south rd to make half time trips considerably shorter

Appears so. And I have a fair inkling about where he's going too.

Might have been. But he won't be there.
Can't say too much yet, but I'm suspecting there'll be an announcement soon.

Heard another rumour today from a local source talking to an ex-SANFL coach, that Stuey Graham from Sturt may be off to the Crows in an off-field capacity....

Not that he played much footy last year but Stueys off field training ethic will be missed at Sturt with the young kids they have got....

If the rumour is true....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Leigh Kruger is very skilful with both hand and foot. Takes a strong grab. Had a few injuries along the way. Played 18 league games in 2006 for a total of 53 and had the potential to be a key player. Very much a team player with a high tackle count. It's just that South recruit his type of player from interstate so he was always playing second fiddle to the recruits.

From BigFooty SANFL section - someone saying they speak to Rick McGowan regularly - claims that Blues close to signing top 10 SANFL player from another club, also says David Rodan good chance of joining the Double Blues. Also says they're in the running for 1 of David Spriggs, Clark Keating or Travis Gaspar.

Not sure the accuracy of any that, but thought it was worth reporting on here as to who Sturt is actually chasing.

But to us Port supporters:

2 teams
1 club
1 history

1 club?

1.Port Adelaide Football Club inc. - 1 legal entity with an number of incorporation going back to 18 hundred and something. Changed it's name in November 1997 to Port Adelaide Magpies FC inc. with same number of incorporation (to allow the Power to call itself PAFC) so still same legal entity and the club with all the history.
2. Port Adelaide Football Club (AFL) Pty Ltd (with board split between PAFC inc and SANFL) created at ASIC on 29/03/97. Different legal entity. Changed it's name to Port Adelaide Football Club Pty Ltd in November 1997 to takeover the "good will" of the previous club. Still not the original club.

1 history?
The original club was sold down the river by people claiming to be Port Adelaide people to create a bastard child with the SANFL. To say "so and so" was a Port Adelaide FC Pty Ltd legend is like saying Doc Baldock is an AFL legend.
The original swampies got done like the Spartans at Thermopalae.

Numbers, dates,"entities" and so on dont mean farg all to the people that know and love Port Adelaide.Your statistical and legal crap has little or no influence on the passion Port fans feel. You show no ability to take feelings and heritage into account.

I for one have spent much time researching the above that you have mentioned and the statements I have made above reflect the thoughts and feelings I hold.

If Clarke Keating goes to Sturt i might find myself attending a couple of games. One of my favourite players from Brisbane.

With regard to the SANFL player, this person is spot on. not in a position to say too much about it, but it may be more of a "swap" situation for them - they are talking with a club north of the city about swapping a big name player for one of theirs.

I don't think you'll find they are talking to Spriggs but another club is - think further along the coast.

I heard a story over a cup of coffee yesterday that $trut has been offering mega-bucks to attract players for next season.

What's happened?

Has Guy Lloyd been resurrected?

I hope that they can put their wallet where there mouth has been*
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

Scott Lewis definitely to Glenelg.
Straight from the horse's mouth.

He wanted me to tell anyone who'll listen that 'Westies can go get ****'.
Boy had had a few beers, but that's a very strong reaction.

A talented player who I hope does well at his new club.
