No such rule never has been. You can take extra half hour before tea break if a side is 8 down thats about it..

But well done to the lads, it was an entertaining afternoon. And it was Toddles first win at the club in 2 and a half years...thats right 2 and a half years. Will be a few celebratory ales at the Royal Tonight.
Our A grade lost, and the C grade got quietly slaughtered with a few players out injured.

Just to menchan it got very firey on the field after a disputed wicket. Made us more determined than ever to bowl these guys out.

Might be thinking of another team but i thought it was them

Hey Lightning, is G.North still having a trundle these days? Top bloke. Used to enjoy our opening bowler vs opening batsman battles back in the mid-90's. 8) Wasn't a big fan of J.Trimboli though - had the personality of a dead fish. A.Grigoul used to provide much mirth, however, 'keeping with his straw hat on and no pads.. Ahh, the good ol' days.

Hoeful ground out 68 for Fitzies, pick of the bowlers were Wiles 3/39, Marshall 3/25, Frick 2/20, Headland 2/10. All ten wickets fell to catches, some of which were spectacular grabs. Vista's fielding definately won the game for them.

A nice little birthday present for spin-twin and cuzzy.

I believe that BB was out twice to PV bowling on the day too

yeah, thanks for the "warm up" mate !!! i think i lasted 1 more ball out in the centre tho.

some great catches that match for sure...especially by spin twin at 2nd slip !

Think your firing up over nothing Carey. The only ones of this forum with half a chance of playing would be you and pistol. Maybe Giggs. Your beef should be with the general Churches Div 1 population coz there are definetly players who are good enuff but couldnt be ******.

What is the benefit in that for both you and the side? Sounds like a pretty silly comment, the 1st half of the sentence was good..

Myself, Plucca and Baldo from NEKCC have put our names up for selection and I believe we will all be part of this sundays game. I myself believe you should always strive to play the highest level you possibly can in any form of sport so am looking forward to see if i can't contribute and make a few more than i did against Paralowie on the weekend (1 shitty run  ) I think we have some bloody good players in this association and believe that if we had a full side to choose from we would be a serious threat to any comp out there!

Can confirm that this Sunday's match will be at Dauntsey Reserve. Side shaping up to be a solid one, albeit a bit flushed with bowlers. Where are you batsmen?!?!? Will confirm the final side and leadership appointments a bit later in the week. ALL spectators are more than welcome.

BIG thankyous must go to Pistol for doing some running around and promoting our rep cricket at NEK. Our rep sides can only be stronger with their active involvement, both skillfully and socially - top bunch of blokes. 8) To the mighty ONION for offering his assistance - thanks mate! PT for doing some running around himself - speaking of top blokes.. BB for taking it to his Club, and finally to Dutchy - aka 'carey' - for promoting it at his Club too and doing some running around. You guys have made it a whole stack easier for me to assemble the side, especially with the 1st match being scheduled at such short notice.

Matches after Xmas are against ATCA (17/1/10) and against ASCA (14/2/10). Promote it at your Clubs boys, we've got a whole pile of talent in this Association and a great culture being created at rep level. It can only get better with the Clubs and players supporting it. Trainings for the next 2 matches will commence early in Jan'10, so lodge your leave passes with the Minister for War & Finance right now lads and get behind OUR Association. 8)

PS; bored, I have a spot reserved for you, but you'll need to use your real name though - N.Kraft..

although I shouldn't laugh, Krafty would probably be in better nick than me at the moment... played 1 and a half games (they needed a batter the week before the wedding, I got to have a slap then go home  ) and ate VERY well on the honeymoon, so i have a bit of work to do to get back to being unfit instead of really unfit

Good luck to the boys playing on the weekend, I'll definitely be out at some stage to cheer ya's on... and make sure PG isnt too drunk!

Herder, do you have a list of who is in the team?
