The 3 should cream these in this race. It's only a matter of finding the placegetters. And sometimes thats the hardest part.

Well done Dutchy.

That sucks Mighty Tiger. Was one of the easier races today. Good pick with 3-6 though. First 4 paid a treat. Trifecta $16 X 4.5 was ok.

How do you blokes do your form?

I look at recent form, recent boxes, record at track & recent grade

With the 2 it had a solid overall record with 12 placings from 22 starts and 6 placings from 10 at the track, was down in grade from its last 2 starts and came into box 2 after drawing 866, on initial look its porm was very poor in its last 3 starts but after investigating further there were excuses

I must have misread the post.

Imagine if they opened fixed odds on exotics. Even though 90% of the time they would be under-value. I am sure there are somethings that could be destroyed!!

Remember the best greyhound in the race doesn't always win.

Why?

Because it may not be the best suited greyhound in the race. You don't want a wide runner drawing box 1 as it doesn't get much chance to run off the track without getting hampered.

I try and picture the race from each dogs position and analyse them H2H based on Video analysis then Form analysis. Then key stats like career S/R. Track/Distance records. Box records and Expert Tipsters and ratings.

Each greyhound gets a comment for its video (if they have one). Then a comment for its Form. Then key stat points and then ratings/tips.

From there I can try and see which greyhounds are better suited. Which ones will lead. Which ones are strong.

It's easier to find the worst greyhound in the race than the best. So thats how I start. By doing the form backwards. Rating them from WORST TO BEST. I find it easier than BEST TO WORST.

It's a long long list. Each race is different and has different ways of being analysed. After a while you don't even realise what your doing, you just do it naturally.

Thanks for the explanation, I just found out that the videos of previous races are available online - that would help immensely these days, I used to follow them closely but dont now
