1, 'gammalite' tough with a never give in attitude that handled constant racing & at the top level from day 1
2,'pure steel' ditto
3,'koala king' sit sprinter who needed a soft run to win but had a blistering turn of speed & it could not handle hard runs
4,'markovina' ditto
now these champions all have one thing in common
which is what mal ??
Tough horses can do it,
sit sprinters dont as a rule?
thats a fair enough answer but i was looking for they have all won interdominions (with the possible exception of pure steel) as i'm not sure with him but with koala king & markovina their trainers looked after them to ensure they could get through a series of 4 runs in 2 weeks, so i'm saying if the trainers look after their horse inbetween runs that most horses can handle it
If Pure Steel + Gammalite raced 3 times in a week and had to race against
Markovina and Koala King who were fresh who would win ?
Why should trainers of softer horses have to nurse them through.
Every horse should be trying to win every heat not being nursed.
For that reason the Interdominion is flawed.
The sooner they scrap it and run 3 races in 3 weeks the better.
