Mine wasn't a smooth encounter, then again I had it at the Lyell McEwin.
After having some needles to numb the area I got wheeled into a room that was about 2 degrees with a half a dozen young nurses in there to watch me shrivvle.
The surgeon began to make an incision and I jumped, "I can't perform the surgery if you move" he said.
"I can't not move if I feel you cutting into my balls mate" I replied

I think the whole office heard me pissing myself after reading that bit!!

The rest of the story was obviously no laughing matter mate, but that's just funny as!!!

Only 2 blokes I've talked about it says it has had a negative effect on them. Even though my survey had a 100% bad result I wouldn't even risk it if it was 1%. Just my personal opinion.

I had mine about 2 years ago in the chair with a local anasethic, took about 15 minutes. No stitches even, the Doc used a Chinese suture technique. I walked home 10m walk, laid up in bed for a day with no pain...didnt even take a panadol. It was done on a Friday. I was back at work on the Monday.

My husband was um'ing and r'ing to get the procedure done,
He didn't really like the thought of it all even though he knows at least 15 family and friends who had it done and are still alive to tell the tale

He was just starting to 'warm' up to the idea-
When one day he turned on the telly while one of those medical shows were on, and they showed the full graphics of it all
Good one

It made him cringe and guess what!
I'm still waiting for him to get it done

I don't nag him about it though - I can understand how it could be very daunting to some males.
He'll get there eventually...lol.

I fully understand the reservations men have regarding this procedure, but the benefits for the woman in the relationship ( no more hormone changing 'pill' ) far out weighs some sore knackers for a couple of days.

True there are some stories of woe, but I would suggest 9/10 go without a hitch, so to speak.
