Race 5 number 7 DOOF DOOF - doesn't win too often but very honest.

Sandown Race 1~Have done some extensive study for this one. Bit annoyed that it is raining though as that has changed the race slightly.

#1 CONNORS FURY > Is inititally slow out of the boxes, but musters up quickly. Has been enjoying wide runs around the field. Hard to get that from Box 1. 30.45 recent Cranbourne win in strong style should suit tonight. Too quick for these.

#2 MAXIMUM RIDE > Can begin quite well. Has been racing against superior runners of late. Will appreciate this draw, but will need to race for luck as is weak in the concluding stages.

#3 PROVEN VINTAGE > Hasn't begun well for quite some time. He is racing well below his best as is quite a capable greyhounnd in my opinion. The box will suit as will get to the rail no problem here. Just how close he can get by charging home late remains to be seen. Likes it here 4/5p Track/Distance.

#4 SIZZLIN SUZY > My early leader. Will get the luck she needs in the early stage of the race. Problem will arise if she can't cross #2 MAXIMUM RIDE as she will just drift off the track and run towards the rear.

#5 MICKS LOSS > Another sluggish beginner who charges home late. Will look to be punching through the field on the first bend as musters speed quick. Will need luck.

#6 BUBBLES DEVERE > Faded in the finish at Bendigo 430 maiden win in 24.54. But did begin well from Box 4 and opened up a 3 lengths leader. Hard to see Bubbles being strong in the finish on a wet track.

#7 BLACK SAKURA > Her Sandown win in November showed that when she pings she clings on. But that does seem out of the ordinary. Has 3/3p Track/distance which is great.I think she may need the rails to go well though.

#8 WHY NOT GIANN > We like a greyhound who keeps on trying after finding trouble and Why Not Giann is one of those. Has been consistent out of the boxes of late. Could enjoy this box despite best performances coming from the rail. If she can cross there may be some hope for an upset.

Traralgon Race 3

#2 GAMBLE ME ~ Is typically slow out of the boxes. Did show pace last start, but normal racing pattern sees Gamble Me towards the rear early. Does like to race along the rails. But is far from up to this race. Ignore.

#3 ELITE YIPPEE ~ Has had three perfect races recently.. Mainly due to his starting ability. Should find the rail first. And will be the one to catch.

#4 BAD BOY HEATH ~ Has talent. Would have challenged at Bendigo last start had he been able to cross. Should be right in this.

#5 LEADING HAND ~ Likes to get off the track in the race.

#6 LUGILE LOCH ~ Races for luck. Bad box for this field in the race. Does lack experience and that is a worry. Especially based on 1st Dec performance at Sale. Should have won that. But failed.

#7 CANOOGIE ~ No thanks

#8 LUCY BALL ~ Suited by this box and has the strength to power home over the leaders and post a quick time.
