Despite some wayward form this decade, we invariably save our best for WA at this venue
Get past MCGOFFIN/NOFFKE early and then its prob the usual matter of when to declare
LikeWISE if WA can get past Peter GEORGE , that would improve its chances
It would be sheer ecstacy for Cover King if Mitch Marsh and Luke Ronchi got going batting in tandem

Will WA recover from thier declarefested last ball defeat v TA last SS game ?
Without a shadow of doubt Brett DOREYs unavailabilty will be a major loss

Wise 12th man for Redbacks
Managn is WA's drinks carrier for teh game aswell.
WA has won the toss and has elected to bat.

The Redbacks would most probably like to to have WA 8/9 down for 280 or so at stumps tonight and they would be in control of the match I would think.
I feel Peter George's day is today and i am expecting 3 or 4 from him including a couple early ones.

A big game for both teams in contrast to their season so far.

George with an early wicket!

3rd Over
Over 2.1: George to Towers, no run, OUT, lazy forward defence and the ball goes straight through the gate to take out the offstump

Also it looks like they have changed the format of the scorecard/commentary and it looks alright:

WA 1/6.

I would like to see a wicket or two very soon!

Getting Mitch Marsh and Ronchi in early will only be good for cricket. Watch Ronchi get out cheap and Mitch Marsh come to the rescue!

Gone!

Vital wicket for the West End Redbacks there breaking that partnership of 98. Voges the next man in
Over 27.2: Bailey to Robinson, no run, OUT, advances and drives straight down the thoat of Cosgrove at short cover, great leaping catch there to remove the danger man

2/104.

Cosgrove is on fire! Not only does he make back to back tons but he takes a ripper catch even though I am a bit confused with the "straight down the throat" and "great leaping catch"

Hope the foundations on that new stand are set - might want to get the building inspectors in to check for damage from Cossie's return to earth after that one.

Mitchell Marsh comes out to bat with his brother with the Retravision Warriors now 3/141
Over 38.5: Haberfield to Voges, no run, OUT, good length ball just outside off has Voges reaching and finding the edge, easy catch taken by Manou

Gawwwwwwwwn. Come on Redbacks.

Need to get these two bros out quick smart or they will do some serious damage!

I don't mind the look of our fast bowling future, George and Haberfield leading the line!

I agree with you RM..... i have grown up playing with Jake and played against George and i was sceptical when they were given their opportunity onthe back of some average form. But i think they have gained a lot of confidence from being given consistant games to bowl in and watching Jake bowl in the 1 dayer against the Vics he was hitting the crease hard and not holding back like he did in the initial stages of his SA career. Gerogey has taken his bag already and i feel Jake can get one in the near future!

Christian gets Shaun Marsh to a good catch at 1st slip from Doc Harris and has a huge appeal against Ronchi first up but has it denied.

4/175 with Mitch Marsh and Ronchi at the crease.
