The NBL want $450k a year from a naming rights sponsor? Just a couple of years ago they were getting double that and considering the Fox deal sitting there is for $35m I'd think they would get 3-4 times that current asking price with an all encompassing Fox deal.

Not a "naming rights" sponsor, this figure is just to have the license for the supply of apparel only.

Oh okay my mistake. I agree they've got buckleys of getting that kind of money purely for apparel.

Boti Nagy on tomorrow at 8.30 on RPH (normally its alternate weeks, but changing it back to this week for the Xmas break). Might get a chance to read the final rites on the Tigers' season. They were supposed to be serious contenders too....cannot, will not win a title with that player in the line-up. Won't happen. They play three games in seven days coming up, including their 2009 nemesis, Cairns, twice in that time. Season virtually over.

Well done to the Sixers, fantastic win in Perth elevates them to fifth spot. They host the Wildcats Wed night, before an eight day break when travelling to Wollongong on New Years Eve.

Hmmm. :? :?

Dreadful second half collapse. Does show, though, why Perth are deserved title favorites.

Talk about hitting fire when shooting. How did the wildcats go from 0/10 3 pointers in 1st half to not 9/12 at one point in the second. very disappointing for the 6ers

Shocking end result but not really a whole lot you can do when a couple of guys go crazy from behind the arc. Plus losing Holmes & Herbert during the game didn't help.

The 36ers are playing the Hawks at the Dome tomorrow night for their NYE game and good to see both Herbert & Holmes will only miss that game.

Okay, I didn't even bother checking the schedule as the Sixers usually play at home on NYE.

Massive danger game for the Sixers. The Hawks are next to unbeatable at home this year. Expecting a 12+ point loss to be honest.

If I were a betting man I'd throw a few dollars on the Hawks @ $9.

Unfortunately, I think their brave tilt is coming to a gradual end, with Tywain McKee's back injury causing real problems. He is having trouble getting more than five minutes of game time together at the moment.

Perth starting to look really dangerous.

I agree if the McKee injury keeps dragging on they're done. He's just too important to their team. The Wildcats are looking good especially with their new import Galen Young in the side now. He's yet to click with them but I remember him having a pretty solid all round game when he was with the Crocs a couple of years ago so he could make them really dangerous.

An interesting game on Fox tonight with NZ @ Wollongong from 7pm. Supposedly Tywain McKee will not only miss the game tonight but could be in doubt for the rest of the season.
