SCD PREVIEW

Postby SCD » Fri Nov 10, 2006 5:31 pm

Race 1 - Not a lot of gate speed off the front, which makes it a tough race, go with the two main chances being 1 and 8 with good place chances to 2,4,5,9
Race 2 - 1 looks to lead over 1750m (a good place to be) so main chances are 1 and 7 from 2,3,4,9,10
Race 3 - 1 should lead again, so main chances again are 1,7 from 4 and place hopes to 2,3 (5 to run last)
Race 4 - Very hard race, think again the 1 can kick up and lead and win... (common theme here is 1) with good place chances to 2,7,8,9 and maybe 6 to fill 3rd
Race 5 - The best bet of the night has been scratched, which opens this race up.. 2 will hand up over 2170m here. but I can't work out to who.... so main chances are 2,4,5,6 and a place chance to 7 (don't think 3 or 8 can run money)
Race 6 - I'll risk the two interstate horses, so go with 1 and 4 as the main hopes with good place chances to 5,6,9,10, especially 9 (FOR MT & MAL the 7 has good Rocklea form!)
Race 7 - 2170m trotters standing start - always hard, but main chances are 1,8,9 and place hopes to 2,7,10,11 (for betfair - take the 12 at 200/1 and 6 at 500/1)
Race 8 - I'm not going to do a Mal and pick the whole field.. so i'm not going to tip at all - don't bet on the race...

Suggested Bets
Race 2 - 1 e/w
Race 3 - 1 e/w

As for Bayman - priorities... obviously not good enough!!
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

G BUTLER = YOU CLOWN

Postby SCD » Fri Nov 10, 2006 11:04 pm

Had an ok night on the punt, Roaming Ranger helped us out in the 6th - which was a good kick along... especially at the $9

However, I have had the biggest laugh in a long time at the expense of GARRY BUTLER!!! This clown was driving number 1 (CANGO QUICK) in the last.. decides at the 1300m mark he will get itchy fingers and try and push off from behind the leader.. when that doesn't work he goes the sprint lane with a lap to go... NOW THAT'S GREAT FORM... Only lost by about 10m, ran into 5th or 6th.. but the driver should be suspended for 4 - 6 months for total and utter incompetence.. they have 1 job to do, drive a horse and can't even count laps.. shame on you G BUTLER and I hope you get at least a 12 week holiday....

I think the worst thing here is we are talking about a driver that has driven feature race winners at Moonee Valley and Gloucester Park and would only be 30 - 35 years old, not a 75 year old man or a claiming driver and not even a Gina Bell.. what a joke!!!

ditto, but he only got 6 weeks i would have given him at least 6 months as that was incompetant, things like this is why people stay away from the trotts, thats why i push for professional drivers (g.butler as a rule is not bad) but think how many saw it last night & said ''never again with the theives on wheels" & scd i think a clown would have driven it better infact scaffidi would've driven it better !!!
