Hey fatso, have you checked the weigh-ins recently?

I would never play for them not even for a billion dollars & that line across half forward would be the most goal hungry line i'd ever see !!!!!

Not hard to see, will be at Underdale bowling club this week and home at the Airport (next to IKEA) the week after! :D
Not all white though, we have snazzy tops with a bit of light blue in them and a airplane on the back.
Most bowls clubs are sponsored by funeral parlours but Ive come to the right one because we have Coopers as one on our top. ;)
Sorry, off topic I know.

I went and watched a few Magpies games when Ray Ebel was playing and will do similar with Hargs, mainly games not at Alberton though as its a fair distance to see a team Ive traditionally despised!

Given the last time your team played there I would have thought there would have been plenty of Black and Whites having a roll-up seeings the footy was a non-event for them

On your way along Marion Rd,just over Bradman Drv make sure you wave to the blokes playing cricket on the Youth Centre,Ill be there, just dont scream "HOWWWWWWWWWZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!" as you drive past, funnily enough, you wont be the first person to have done it.Most seem to think they are.

Not saying they've made a wrong choice here at all, but Port's recruiting in recent times seems to lack imagination. They seem to want to pick up anyone who's available rather than target problem areas.

We do however need a key forward. No doubt about that.

How so?
You have Waterhouse & Cupido already- will 3 full forwards work?
I wish Hargy every personal success, but have to wonder at the logic Port are using....

I agree with Booney, neither Cupido or Waterhouse are full forwards or CHFs IMHO which is the 2 spots Hargs can play. Both play their best football as a flanker or a pocket.

Hargs, Cupido and Waterhosue would actually be a smaller forward line than Gill, Alleway and Hargs.(You could even add Perrie to the mix on at least one occasion).

There is no way a club would be stupid enough to have Waterhouse, Hargraves and Cupido in the same team.

The problem is not the physical mix, the problem is the personality mix.

Hargs and Waterhouse are mates and spent time together at the Dockers by memory so they might develop a good understanding between each other. Hargs would just take Paul Evans spot who may never play SANFL again due to his knees.
Cupido is an X Factor and may be the sort of player who may not fit in anywhere to tell the truth.

Harg's positives far outweigh his negatives and he'll bring some passion and comradrie to Port and their supporters.

Ginever supposedly had trouble controlling Waterhouse and Clayton, now has Cupido and Hargraves as well. Looks like Jack Cahill will be getting a few more phone calls from Timmy next year!!

IMHO,Clive is a liability, and Hargy, once again IMHO,will be out to prove some (at Prospect) wrong,as he is well within his rights to do.Cupido is,as Wedgie stated, not a FF or CHF,this might just add the mix needed for us to be a success once again.Too often last year we let the ball go out of our F50 far too easily, now Clive,Hargy and Cupido are not going to be the hardest working "defensive" forwards around, but the odds of one of them catching it are better than what we had last year.
