Good on ya Adelaide Turf with your fantastic scheduling of the Turf T20 competition!
Round 1: Tuesday December 8th (no clash)
Round 2: Tuesday December 15th (no clash)
Round 3: Tuesday January 12th- Redbacks v Tigers KFC Big Bash at Adelaide Oval (1 of only three games at Adelaide Oval) & also the SACA A Grade District Twenty 20 Final. WHY DO ADEL TURF SCHEDULE FOR THIS NIGHT?????
Round 4: Wednesday January 27th- (no clash) day before is Aust v Pak at Adel Oval.
Round 5: Tuesday February 9th- Australia v West Indies D/N at Adelaide Oval WHY DO ADEL TURF SCHEDULE FOR THIS NIGHT????

Questions surely have to be asked why do they schedule for the same night as these games when the Adel turf should be for one, supporting the SACA grade Grand Final and two, the Domestic and International games that we dont get every day coming to Adelaide, surely the Adel turf would be better off re-scheduling those two games because of the clash! They did it for the test match!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Surely Gade or Phillips would do something about this!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope there is a reason for it. The SACA wouldn't say it publicly but they don't want the fans who actually play the game to go to these types of games. They would rather have the non cricketer's money. I'm sure the SACA has programmed its own competition up against this also.

41 and all games still go ahead with reduced overs. A1 - B3 will play 72 overs instead of 80. C1 - C3 will play 60 overs instead of 72 and all LO grades will play 36 overs each rather than 40 each.

Not sure what happens to a Friday night game (if any are scheduled this round) in the LO comps given it's a different day and will obviously be a lot cooler during the evening anyway.

that is an interesting scenario with any Friday night games. i would say that they would get the full quota as they are playing under the normal rules.

Definitely played in hotter, just running around in the field and then having a bat, core temp was reaching cooking point by the end of the day

I agree it was hot, i guess i just expected it to be worse than it actually was. After fielding for 72 overs i was more drained than i normally would be because of the heat but it wasn't unbearable as i thought it might be.

Worst part of the day was getting into the car that had been baking in the sun all afternoon. Now that was hot  ;)

it was hot and i would of hated to be a bowler. the good side of it was losing the toss and having to bowl and then knocking them over for 48. out of there with a smile

played at concordia, small ground so not to much running going on in the feild, but bowling 22 overs wasnt the most fun! drinks every 12 overs was a god send though.

as said above, before tea wasn't too bad but after was just bloody hard work!

and on the clash with the 20/20 and 1 dayer. that is a joke imo. could see a lot of blokes wanting to go to the games. especially the 1dayer!
