To be fair i think i took a wicket in the early 2000's. I also broke my finger when someone belted the ball back at me. Ended up costing me $2 for the drop catch.

i think youll find timed out doesnt go to the bowler. Very surprising there was only 3 out to ass. training. With the good facilities, bowling machine, good bunch of blokes, romantic movie night on tuesdays, crazy locals and rock hard outfield at n.e.k. Im surprised vistas so called ex test player wasnt out there signing for the next 6 years, Lords, pffft, call that a cricket ground.

wow, 10 wicketless seasons in a row.... If you are really short herder, ill come out and lend a hand to the part timers like pistol. And spin twin, way to sook mate. The team already has 2 left arm seamers. I assume thats what you bowl, ive seen you muck around bowling right arm, not bad for your wrong side....honestly.

I thought spin twin bowled off spin but came off the long run for fitness reasons to keep that beautiful figure so corpulent!

****NEWSFLASH****

Association training cancelled tomorrow night due to the 43 degree predicted forecast.

Anyone wanting to throw their hat into the ring for the ATCA match next Sunday on 17/1/10 (assuming they have organised a venue - still waiting to hear from them where we supposed to be playing?!?) please call me on 0427718576 or Scooter on 0403761983. Can't guarantee everyone a game (obviously), but all serious 'applicants' will be considered for selection. Cheers!

Despite the heat Enfield held an internal Twenty20 Cricket match at Terama. It was a huge success, with a good turn out and fun had by all. Everyone got a bat and bowl and thoroughly enjoyed it. Then after it was all said and done, a few snags were thrown on the barbie and a few beers were sunk to cool off.

I hear Lairdy batted well and is looking at moving up the order soon?

Until a certain left arm bowler come on and took his off-stump out of the ground 1st ball haha...but in all seriousness you did bat well, was very impressed with the innings.

I was just looking through the program for matches for the rest of the season and noticed there isn't any games scheduled for the 23rd of January. Anyone know why this is the case?

I think it would be a perfect date to replay all of the matches that were cancelled on the weekend due to the heat.

Just a note for those who have bought SACA Passes, even though they say they include finals, you might want to ring them, because they reckon if its sold out (which it will be) you wont get in on them.

To save you time, SACA's number 8300 3800
