It's staring to get ugly again ... might be time to get out the Sav Blanc or Shiraz maybe?

No worries. Jimmy and I would be happy to share a nice cool Sav Blanc anytime.

Cloudy Bay or Craggy Range OK, mate :)

We'll compromise, then. Either is good with me, but don't tell Psyber I'm still on the NZ stuff. ;)

PS: I hope you not drinking 'Kiwi stuff'' isn't a racist comment

All kidding aside, I've had the occasional rather nice NZ white, R&B, and I still drink the odd drop of Chardy or Sauv, Blanc..
There's a Pholi Farm (Fleurieau Peninsula) 2005 unwooded Chardonnay open in the fridge at the moment waiting to be finished off tonight.
I'll be in the Primo Colombard anytime its offered, or I'd have a nice Chenin Blanc..

I don't let conformity to expectations shape my sipping..
I called in at Shaw+Smith a while back, thinking to taste a few of their's, but they wanted me to pay money to eat "the appropriate food" with the tastings and be told how to appreciate it.
So, I said, "No thanks!", and went on to the next winery up the road, where they let me just taste wine on a clean palate, and make up my own mind...

My problem, Psyber, is that I was drinking the NZ Sav Blancs before they became flavour of the month. I've been bypassed now, but I'm happily back where I was before :)

I'm moving down the Fleurieu soon, so I'll visit a few wineries there then.

Incorrect and I'd probably need to be pro-Labor to do so. I've explained my MO before and if you missed it the last time around that's your problem.

Jimmy_041 and redandblack you are like an old married couple - at each others throats one minute and all lovey-dovey the next.

Add Psyber and Gozu to the mix and that's a pretty feisty foursome.

Mate, I did miss it, but it isn't a problem to me.

I wasn't trying to typecast you anyway, it was just in passing to differentiate between us in reply to Jummy. My apologies if it offended you.
