:D Some good news for South at last!!!
No great loss I'm afraid. A player with undoubted ability but now his resume says he has been sacked at Brisbane, Essendon and now South. A slippery slope indeed. Will be interesting to see who takes him on. I mean ,a large pricetag and a body to match.

Maybe now all the whingers re: the salary cap will be silent. :!:

As one that has questioned South and the cap, yes this certainly does silence me, for the time being....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Maybe not, but I'm expecting his delisting from Essendon to be announced in tomorrow's paper.

not exactly sure but was somewhere around the 50-60 mark & that sounds good but i'd bet about half of them were against sturt & west, against glenelg he kicked 1 in the three games he played against us

Kicked 50 + goals in 2006.
And SA supporters ? are saying,
" No great loss Im afraid."
" Did not prove himself."
Irrespective of whether he played AFL or Amatuer League he is a 50+ forward.
He's fat , He's lazy.....HE'S A 50+ FORWARD WHO WILL BE MISSED.
SA made the finals for the first time in years, and Cupido played.

If he's a bad influence thats another matter.

He played in their losing final against South but didn't play in their winning final against Port(due to suspension).
Pretty well sums up what South fans, I and others have been saying.
Ironically after all the hulabaloo about his suspension they would have been better off if he got 2 games instead of 1!

He'll be a loss to South. Obviously one they are willing to take. If you look at him on even terms and forget about how much he is getting paid, or his history, he made a reasonable contribution to the South side. IMO he was their most talented forward.

No we would have got 4th spot, if Archard, Warren or Davey didn't play....Cupido kept us in it IMHO

We would have got 5th spot if we beat Sturt or North (2nd game) at the Bay......
