So agreed, the losing "Phil" of the CD v Eag trial game in March becomes a member of the other Phil's club.
I should be there on the day so can sign up straight away if things don't go to plan.
I'll also bring an Eagles membership form should you go back to back.

I take it from this that you can add Kantilaftis to the list of people that you guys did not rate and now backstab? Who else has coaused you and your club so much pain?
All this bitching reminds me of South a few years back. I hope this does not result in the Eagles having to have a clean-out like South was forced to do to give it any chance of going forward again.

and here i was excpecting lots of positives from you this year Holden! ..... guess it was too much to ask![]()
Wouldn't have thought us members could complain about the club website (or the members emails) for the amount of information that is provided and how often they are updated/come through, even for things like Craig Parry's injury.
I think we are also fortunate in that we get a great deal of information provided through this site. The club could quite easily ignore supporters like you and I who post here because we, and the great majority of others don't put our names to our comments. The Parry email would indicate to me that someone at the club takes notice of what is posted on this site (not just by Eagles supporters) and sees the value of it as a way of keeping the members and supporters informed...
I think you, I and everyone knows who that someone is
Now lets bring on the footy!

All the supporters I have spoken to think that JK did a great job.

You said the club should provide info about the candidates for the board........if you had read CD's inital post he mentioned where and how to get the info. Its on the website or if you go to the club to vote the info will be there, if you get a postal vote the info is with it...so... young, old, tech savy, non tech savy...all bases covered there!
The club website is very informative and over the past 12 months the info comming from the club (via the site and emails etc) has been outstanding so my mention of that was just making reference to your comment about the website always being behind, I don't know what info other clubs send to their members but think we are kept up to date quite well.
Guess it depends if you see the glass half full or half empty, from the comments you make here it seems you see it half empty. I noticed you said you are happy with how things are going but then in the same sentence make a remark that there others that need to be "gotten rid of"![]()

I guess for the same reason as you not wasting the clubs money on a postal vote that you dont need. I remember them doing it once before but guess its just the way of the world these days!
