About ATG and V Products
AB Trav och Galopp was formed 1973 and started its operation in August 1974. In the beginning of 1970's horseracing was in a decline in Sweden and ATG was formed as a betting company with the aim to secure the development of horseracing in Sweden on a long term basis.
ATG is owned by the two horseracing associations, the Swedish Trotting Association (STC) and Swedish Gallop (SG). STC owns 90 % of the shares and SG owns 10 %. ATG has the only license to arrange betting on horses in Sweden and the license is given by the Swedish government. ATG has around 30 % of the betting market in Sweden and its biggest competitor is Svenska Spel (Swedish Gaming) who runs sports betting and number games.
ATG also has in its license, an acceptance to cooperate with international licensed operators with good reputation and to accept bets via central systems in a controlled way for the benefit of both organizations.
ATG has a license to arrange betting on horses and offers betting via its agencies (2.000), the trotting and thoroughbred tracks (37) and has in excess of 100,000 account customers.
V Products
V75 - The V75 bet is one of the biggest horseracing bets in the world with pool investments in excess of $15,000,000 nearly every week. Customers attempt to forecast the winners in seven races. Dividends are payable for correct forecasts of the winners in 7, 6 or 5 races with the chance of a jackpot if the dividend calculated for correct forecasts of six or five winners is less than AUD$3 or if there is no ticket correctly forecasting seven winners. V75 meetings are normally held on Saturdays and bring together the major league of trotting with the best horses and drivers in the country competing at one of Sweden's trotting tracks.
V64 - The Wednesday evening meetings in Stockholm feature some of the country's very best horses and drivers and the track itself is of top-class standard. V64 pays dividends for correct forecasts of the winners in 6, 5 or 4 races, with the chance of a jackpot if the dividend calculated for correct forecasts of five or four winners is less than AUD$1.40 or if there is no ticket correctly forecasting six winners;
V65 - This bet type is run in the evening on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. To win a V65 bet, customers have to correctly forecast the winners in six or five races. There is also the possibility of a jackpot accruing for V65 betting. If the dividend calculated for correct forecasts of five winners is less than AUD$4 or if there is no ticket correctly forecasting six winners a jackpot occurs. V65 meetings are held at different race tracks from day to day;
V5 - V5 bets can be placed every evening except on meetings where V64 or V65 is held. V5 is a Pick 5 and to win, customers have to correctly forecast the winners in five races. If no one picks 5 winners then dividend paid for picking 4 winners.
V4 - This bet type is run from Mondays to Fridays on lunch racing meetings. V4 is a Pick 4 and to win, customers have to correctly forecast the winners in four races. If no one picks 4 winners then dividend paid for picking 3 winners.
Mystery Bet - Mystery Betis a computerised fast bet, designed to help customers who feel they do not have enough knowledge or time to analyse races. With a Mystery Bet the computer picks the horses for you, not at random, but on the basis of other customer's bets. This means that the combination bet generated by the computer will embrace both favourites and outsiders.
With Mystery Bet you can win both millions and small winnings. Harry Boy is available on V75, V64, V65, V5 and V4.
