SW were a class above. Macaferty (sp?) batted well for his 60 odd, the others slapped their way to a good total ( I mean slapped in a good way). They punished some very average bowling. I do think they are beatable though, but it will take a massive effort to do that.

Scotty McIntyre bowled very well with his medium outswingers taking 5 for. Turned the game after we were 2-104 after drinks.

Huge upset, wouldn't have thought EP would get close considering how Craigmore have been travelling but that's what you get with a young team. Helps their relegation battle.

Grade 2 is starting to get interesting. Noone would've given E Park a chance to win this one, no one tipped it. 130 runs is well below par for that team. Any word on Smithfield vs Playford?

I believe Playford won, but not 100% sure. If Playford did win the top 4 in grade 2 has really tightened up.

Haha, all credit to him he bowled well and changed the game. Quite often it is one of these changes that can bring about the wickets, Davies had bowled well for 5 overs, Johnny Mac bowled 3-4 overs, Picton had bowled 3ish and Willie Sewell had bowled 6-7 overs of his tweakers. At that stage it was looking even, maybe even in favour of us but it all fell away. Some poor shot selections, me included, led to a massive 4-5 collapse.

I see a L Kent bowled for R&C A grade on the W/E. Is that the same one who opened the bowling a couple years back? If so, is there a reason he hasn't played all year? Good bowler from memory.

Believe he has played the last 3 games (B grade) after receiving a years suspension for abusing an umpire? Can only bolster the R&C stocks before the finals which IMO looks to have a reasonable bowling attack already..

I definitely agree, makes their bowling attack quite potent. Feltus and Kent who bring the pace, Figallo has great control and is very hard to score from. They will be a danger team come finals, only question will be their batting (although it did exceptionally well yesterday). If it all clicks who knows.

Yeah, Playford got the biccies in a very entertaining game, they did receive some luck when Macartney was bowled on 4 only to be deemed a no-ball, Raed produced an absolute Jaffer and the umpire thought something must've made it do what it done. He went on to score 44 in about 4 or 5 overs at the end which gave them a very defendable score.
Having said that, they had a few contributors with the bat, we missed McMillan and our tactics weren't too crash hot, our bowlers often bowled an over or two too many and we made a big error with our batting line-up, we did put on 89 for the last wicket but it wasn't enough.
A couple of there players said it was the strongest team they had fielded for quite a while, they had a very strong batting line-up.
