Congrats Joel - Local Govt Results

Postby Wedgie » Fri Nov 17, 2006 7:58 am

Congrats to Joel Bayliss on getting elected onto the Marion Council, there's a nice article about Joel in today's paper on Page 27.
For those unaware Joel is a regular on here and in the Snouts Louts forum, is seen at most Bays games and is a top lad to boot, always good fun to have a chat to.
Well done Joel, to get on a council at such a young age is a huge achievement and Im sure you'll be an insperation to other young people and those from an indigenous background also!

I'm just so glad Joel got voted in and Vincent Brown got voted out. I don't want to get this site into any defamation cases by saying what I really want to but how that individual stayed in the Marion Council for 15+ years is totally beyond me. Close the door on the way out!

Just don't be rude about a certain former mayor. He's my uncle.
