Lodge had a big win today. Posted 3-325 after their 40 overs. Hargraeves batted well for his 103, Luke Paterson 28, Sibbs continues his good form with 93 n.o and Browny committed suicide on the last ball before drinks to be out for 65. My highlight of the day was being padded up for the full 40 overs waiting, awesome!!!

SN dug in and to their credit batted the 40 overs. Galbraith put away anything off-line and batted extremely well for his chanceless 110 odd n.o. Our bowlers didn't cut the mustard, must improve for next week, and the following matches vs R&C and OTH to stand any sort of chance. SN finsihed 8-226.

Funniest moment of the day was by a fella called Warrior (sp?) who smashed a huge 6 and it went in a car which was parked on the road side on the full!!! Lucky the passenger window was open, or it woulda been smashed!!

Just saw the PDCA site, Virginia easily accounted for OTH. Late season charge has continued.

And no they haven't cloned Mr Sibbick

Maybe Lovetotalkfooty can shed some light on who this new gun is!

Definitely got some zip, shame he went for 49 in 5 overs, with probably half in wides and no balls.

Brookes, Jenner, Feltus, Flanigan all away due to work/weddings etc, also one of the players brought into the side hurt his back early in the field and batted last instead of scheduled 6 so that hurt as well.

IMO R&C did well with what they had to be somewhat competitive, although possibly could have been closer still had some areas been tidied up during the game i.e fielding, partnerships.

Not quite yet, but looking very ominous. They need to steal 1 more win, with matches against Brahma Lodge, Salisbury West and Virginia left. What would be interesting is if both them and Virginia lose the next 2 games, then battle it out for relegation in the last match. Although Virginia do have an improving Salisbury North to come. It will be interesting.

Did Sutton play yesterday Groover?

Yeah sutton played, hes finally back from holidays, defenately bulks up our batting/bowling stocks a bit.
With only 3-4pts separaing Virginia ATCO and Angle Vale, its going to be an interesting finish to the year. With both Virginia and Angle Vale having winnable games vs Salisbury North, it does look tough for Atco to stay up.
