LATICS SWOOP FOR IVORIAN GOHOURI
Wigan have signed Ivory Coast international Steven Gohouri until the end of the season.
Defender Gohouri had been on trial at the DW Stadium after leaving Borussia Monchengladbach in December.

BIRMINGHAM CLINCH MICHEL DEAL
Birmingham have completed the £3million signing of midfielder Michel from Sporting Gijon.
The 24-year-old moves to St Andrew, penning a two-and-a-half-year deal, after making 138 appearances and scoring seven goals for Gijon since making his first-team debut during the 2005-06 season

ESPINOZA QUITS BLUES
Birmingham have released Ecuador international defender Giovanny Espinoza.
The 32-year-old was signed for Blues from Barcelona Sporting Club in his homeland last summer - joining compatriot Christian Benitez at the club - but made just two appearances for Alex McLeish's side, both coming in the Carling Cup

DOSSENA COMPLETES NAPOLI SWITCH
Napoli have confirmed the signing of defender Andrea Dossena from Liverpool on a four-year deal.
The Italy international has long been linked with a return to his homeland, with Napoli narrowly missing out on a deal in the summer.
Reports suggest the Partenopei have paid Liverpool around five million euros for Dossena

VORONIN SEALS DINAMO MOSCOW MOVE
Ukraine striker Andriy Voronin has joined Dinamo Moscow on a three-year contract from Liverpool.
The 30-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Hertha Berlin, met his new coach Andrey Kobelev before putting pen to paper on his deal

Just to rub salt into the wounds created by the departure of Owen Coyle, Jack Wilshere has signed a loan deal to move to Bolton for the remainder of the season. Burnley had been in pole position to bring him in on loan before Coyle sold out like a bastard.

I can't help but think what a non-event this transfer window has been compared to windows past. There have been a HUGE number of loan signings this window which can be attributed to the precarious position many clubs are in financially as a result of the GFC and continuing recession in the UK.
