The only worrying thing from a Tait point of view is he has 2/21, including 5 wides and 6 no balls.

You'd take the odd wide as long as he takes wickets Hawker.

I tend to agree, but 11 illegal deliveries in 7 overs is too many. With Tait's strike rate it could cost wickets.

Nature of the beast AH
I faced erratic wayward fast bowlers in my time and let me assure you
they are hard to face, you cant get into a groove against them.
The military meduims were infinitely easier.
Spinless spinners were a delight.
His erraticness might actually assist his wicket taking exploits.

Yeah a couple too many I reckon as well [11]

Those 5 wides come of the first ball he sent down. 1 for the wide and 4 more when it went past Deitz and went down to the rope.

The 5 wide ball actually went through the slips so i don't think Deitz can be blamed.

Tait has 3 wickets now but left the field... possibly injured but i dont think he was limping, could be dehydrated or just in need of a rest. Hopefully nothing serious.

What a piss poor, pathetic, insipid, disgraceful effort by the Redbacks today.

The second session was dsgraceful. having the two spinners bowling for the majority of the session was poor captaincy again by Boof, and the selectors deserve to be shot. Before today, Harris had only bowled 1 over in his first class career, and now hes first change! Where was Rofe? Cleary? Blewett? How about selecting some bowlers in the team? Too much to ask?

The way we are playing we should never have a tour match again. We just bowl the opporsition into form. Im sure the poms would be happy to see Bell and Collingwood batting to spinners bowling pies all session.

And while Im having a rant, how bad are the Barmy Army? Their songs are pathetic, most were nothing more than stupid noises, and most members would have never gotten closer than 13000km of London. Rent a crowd at its worst.

PAFC, some good points. Im not sure the option of having the two spinners in works that well. Definitly needed the third paceman yesterday. Rofe in my opinion needs to be in the team.

If our top order was able to have more of an impact then you could suggest that Cleary could come in to the team with the two spinners. But at this stage that cant happen.

I agree with you about having the spinners one through that 2nd session. Collingwood and Bell really got the upper hand. I did enjoy watching peiterson bat, hes a brillant talent and his timing and power are brillant to watch when hes going well. I did think that later in the day when the paceman were on SA looked alot better. Hence Rofe in perhaps Bailey out. Also looking at the top order. Blewitt could fit in somewhere, that top order is not working at the minute.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

PAFC
Some well presented facts, good report.

I havent a problem with playing 2 spinners + no third seamer.
I havent a problem declaring charitably at 7 wickets down.
I havent a problem bowling Tait into the ground?
I havent a problem bowling Daniel Harris first change.

I have a problem when these things happen in pura/cup games.
