I gave one woman Arpege this year..
I was sort of obliged as I'd had to ask her to stop using her usual perfume the week before as it was making me sneeze...
[I didn't buy her Joy as my wife used that, and the Arpege was much less expensive than L'heure Bleu or Je Reviens both of which I like too...]

I was waiting for the punchline ( of both Peters website and Psybers post) but came away from both experiences extremely disappointed. :(
