LOAs - Pulteney in a canter esp. if the likes of Adcock, Lehmann and Hooper (yet to front but strong rumour) keep playing. MSCC could be a dark horse.

If they haven't played by now they will have to play all remaining games to qualify. Adcock has played in the LOE side hasn't he? WTF is with that?

Adcock has qualified.
The other two I figure are just 'guesting'.
Still, they are a fair side for LOA.

Looks like PAOC, Payneham and Grange are safe in A1. One spot left for SPOC, Pulteney and AHOS. Team from 4th could well win it again this year!

Payneham in some terrific form and you can never discount Grange in the major round, especially with the likes of Higgins, Harrity & Young in their side.
A2's looks like it's settled apart from the final make up of the 4 - Winner of this weeks clash between Reynella & Walkerville to finish minor premiers and I wouldn't be surprised if the loser slips down below either or both Para Hills & Flinders Park, both PHCC & FPCC have the better draws in the last 2 games than the top 2, could be very interesting to see how things are placed after this round.

Reynella and Walkies should be a cracker. Reynella have the best attack in A2 by far, but their batting is suspect. Rely too much on Hopkins. Gepps X to beat Para Hills and it will be game on for 4th spot in the last round. I think Flinders Uni will sneak in.

Think you will find Geeps X down one of their top order batsman for the rest of the season due to some white line fever

If its just for the rest of the season I would say he got off LIGHTLY!!! From all reports the accussed's behaviour over the past 4 weeks has been nothing less than disgraceful. This bloke will be lucky if he is ever allowed near the place again, think he owes Reynella Captain, the Reynella cricket club and an A2 umpire a massive apology. Gepps is a club in turmoil at the moment, sacked their coach after outbursts towards umpires after round 8 & now this, wont come close to PHCC this week and I doubt very much will be playing any form of A grade cricket next year??

Hmmmm.....Gepps X coach abuses umpires after Round 8 and gets sacked by club, but umpires give Gepps 2 points in Jeff Emmel Spirit of Cricket Award. Wonder how many points they will get in Round 9?

Definate negative score for round 9, the aforementioned player was the most out of line showing dissent towards & intimidating the umpire but from all reports the behaviour of the entire Gepps team was less than satisfactory. From what I know with the round 8 incident the President of Gepps stepped in before the coach had the opportunity to confront the umpires personally but the coaches comments from the sidelines during the game & the potential situation that could have taken place if he was allowed to approach the umpires bought about his downfall, perhaps his sideline comments during the game weren't audible??
Senior & regular A1 umpire Malcolm Green been assigned to umpire GCCC vs PHCC this week??

Whilst noone condones behaviour of this type, the tribunal system and the club has dealt with it in an appropriate manner. The Gepps Cross Cricket Club will continue to foster good relationships with both umpires and opposition clubs, those within their ranks who don't wish to maintain that ethos will be sent packing, simple as that.
To say the club is in "turmoil" is very much a dramatic conclusion based on not a lot of inside knowledge, it serves no purpose whatsoever.

What are some of the higher scores made in ATCA this season? I have heard of a couple of 400 plus games.

PHCC already claimed 1st Innings points and setting themselves up for outright after day 1, think you put the kiss of death on the Gepps boys SMG

A great effort at any time, however it must be mentioned that the opposition were in complete disarray allegedly!!
Rumour has it the "Captain" resigned at the tea break, 2 players walked off the ground and the coach alledgedly threatened to kill another player...

They are a happy team at Port Districts !!!!
