Your confused... #-o
Try reading the whole post and I'm sure an Educated Old Scholar could work it out.

NOT a gun side...just a Family club having a Red Hot go! 8)

Not so much about you, more a case of mistaken identity. We have a long history with The Hectorville Hounds.

haha thats what i thought so when u said it was close u meant hectorville close to hope valley. so i wont be able to see this gun family side play then? bugger!

What do you mean by "will stay"? Was Craig or Garth looking elsewhere? Or did you just need something to fill number 7 on your list? ;)

Garth is the captain down there isn't he?

Im confident that IF will be competitve - whether that be finals or not i dont know - but it wont be 30 goal thumpings week in week out i dont believe. The key needs to be to build the fitness still and gel more as a team, still lacking at the moment in those two areas.

Given the trial game I'm not sure what grounds you have to be optimistic PG, CU couldn't win a game in div 6 last year!! Sure we all know trial games don't mean a lot, but I would've thought they're the perfect opportunity for IF to gain a bit of preseason confidence. Unfortunately they can also work the other way too. So far I have no reason to change my prediction of a bottom four finish for the farmers in 2010. :(

The whole Hall Family have been great assetts, over the years. However as you would know players like Garth get plenty of offers, from all over the place and he's always had plenty of mates putting pressure on at higher clubs just around the corner. Great for us to have him and Craig still on board. Craig played in our U/15 Premiership 9 years ago and been an A grade regular over the past 5 or 6 years. The younger brother Darren, would be great too, but we'll have to wait and see with "Hot Dog", which way the surf or wind blows.

That's fair enough.

We're looking forward to having a hitout with you guys on the 27th. Looks like Hope Valley Oval will be available and it's in really good nick. The centre square might be a tad hard, but the grass will have a couple of weeks to grow after the cricket finishes this weekend. Would be good if all 3 teams could play, because it looks as though we will have enough to have the C's play 3 quarters, then the B's play 3 quarters if it's a 6 quarter game

Fair enough, im hardly going to come out pessimistic and give us no hope all year and talk about gloom and doom and write us off am I?

I honestly believe that Ingle Farm are a much improved side from last season and will improve on results, i guess the best chance for them to prove it comes in a couple weeks when they play Hope Valley.

In defence to not wiping the floor with CU, we were missing several starting A graders (as were CU though as well) fitness wasnt at a acceptable level yet, and it rained :P

Also the B grade had a comfortable win - another side flogged by 30 goals consistantly last season - so something must have improved ;)

Paralowie player told me on sunday that Chris Calyun will playing out at the roos in 2010. He won't come cheap after signing with eastern park last season then he then changed his mind going to salisbury west for more money!

Dont think he changed his mind - think he was told that due to lack of effort that he wouldnt be getting what he signed for - hence ended up at Westies after Eastern Park tore up his contract

a guy I know from HV said they had 6-8 players out of their side as did houghton so fairly even game with bothe teams to have quite a few important INS come season proper. Or
though I did here there may be two brothers not
playing this year from HV

yep, was our A grade captains wedding, so a fair few from the normal A grade side went to it.
