I'm not sure I really get that either. Didn't the story in the Tiser about Gilchrist's great rehab care come out prior to Ninnis being sacked?

Wildcats got up tonight in a close one at home and now have a 1-0 series lead heading into Game 2 in Wollongong.

While its being played in Wollongong - where the Hawks are 15-1 this season - I'm expecting the Wildcats to take home the title tonight. A wonderful ride for the Hawks this year, that they should be immensely proud of, but think Perth will just get over the line.

I thought the Hawks would just get home but won by 12 points. Sets up a cracker of a decider on Friday night.

Watched this one and from the tip-off, it was an absolute arm wrestle throughout. This is not unexpected at the Sandpit, but it was amazing to see how defensive it was from both teams, even for a final. Perth looked to have the edge in the first half, but the Hawks ground them down superbly.

Suddenly not so certain the Wildcats are over the line, although very hard to beat at home.

Yeah I must admit I was out last night and missed the game. I can't for the life of me see the Hawks winning though and expect the Wildcats to win the game comfortably.
