Paralowie got done last week for a player playing under a false name. They were going to win but the game got called off. This player in question is playing in the Grand Final. They rolled the other team for 90odd and they are 5 for 33.

Grade 3 Central United accounted for Smithfield. They made 180, Centrals 6 or 7 for 250odd.
Anyone know how the Craigmore x Brahma Lodge game finished up??
Last we heard Brahma made 270odd and Craigmore were 3 for 50 odd.

Grade 3

Brahma Lodge 6/270 - Hunter 121 (i think)

Craigmore 177 - Four guys getting into the 20's then getting out. Looked like making a game of it at 3/70ish, then fell away quickly. Good luck to the Brahma guys, played the game in good spirit even while belting us everywhere! Alot of clubs woulda been very cocky in that situation. Seem like a good bunch of blokes.

Brahma Lodge 4/71

Grade 1 B Lodge rolled for 112, resumed at 7/111 but were finished off fairly quickly by Feltus.

R&C were cruising at 1 or 2 for 50 odd, fell away and at one stage were 9/109 before the drama started. 9/112, draw enough (or so it seemed at the time) for a home final, Last batsman seemed to get a massive edge to 2nd slip, ball appeared to go from pad to edge of bat (big gap so no confusion as to whether it was only pad or not) only for the umpire to give it not out. Our bowler asked as to why it wasn't LBW, as it seemed also pretty adjacent, Umpire said it was missing. No dramas, however when quizzed about why it wasn't given out caught at slip, the umpire said he was only concentrating on the LBW and didnt notice the huge edge. I believe his name is Bob??? or the chief umpire, not the sort of standard you expect from the umpire. No one at the Lodge blames the batter or anyone from R&C.

In the end we had our chances, and didnt take them during the game (dropped catch at 1st slip by me on batters 2nd ball, went on to make 15 odd). Also been 5/26 doesn't help either.

Besides that moment in the game, well done to R&C, and good luck for the finals. Certainly have the bowling depth to challenge deep into finals, however, they do fall away badly with their batting line-up. Hopefully that changes and they can push OTH.

Now for SW for us in the Semi's, massive task. OTH has proven they can be beaten, but it will need to be a huge effort by everyone. Not out of the realms of possibility, but the odds are stacked against us.

Just saw on the PDCA site that ATCO missed a golden chance to avoid relegation. They need 160 to beat Virginia, but rolled for 61.

Well done to SN on their first win for the year, comfortably beating Angle Vale by 80 odd runs. Joss with 6 wickets.

Would think its the perfect game to lose. Extenuating circumstances with the rain effecting the match....the top two batsman in the comp making nothing between them and only losing by a handful when chasing a big score. Long overdue for a loss. No worries from the westies camp I would've thought.

Go you Westerners ! ;)

ok then!! not the best time of the year to be out of form ;)

brahma have been known to score big in semi finals batting first, so there could be another big run chase coming up, will be interesting to see how westies perform under pressure in the semi, with the whole of PDCA expecting westies to take it out for the 2nd time in a row... i have a feeling brahma will knock them off ;)

One Tree Hill just never get any credit do they, thats the way we like it. under dogs all the way. our 2 top batsmen that have made 800 runs between them for the year making nothing as well so hopefully things should only get better at OTH ;)

as for the R&C and Brahma game, i had a feeling that it was going to be a nail biter, well done to R&C to pull it off and it should make for an interesting finals series.

OTH handled Coombes disgusting mouth very well all day. nothing was said until after the game where Coombes was out of control yelling threats at our players. Neil said one thing and got on report. He will not miss a game. Coombes on report as well. and from what i hear half of s/west supporters and long campaigners want him to leave or they will. You dont need that when you come to the cricket, i rkn he would have been locked up if the cops were there.
