I havent minded Rann for a while, but he has really stunk it up in the past 3-4 months and he is on the nose, doesnt even impress as someone who wants the job anymore...

The last few days there have been more positive ads mixed in with the negative stuff from labor.

The liberals seem to be doing the opposite and mixing in negative ads in what has been predominately a positive campaign by them.

Agree with AF on this one!

Agreed,but....do you base your vote on promises relating to either parties campaign?

Just as fraught with danger IMO.

Labour should be ashamed of the ad's they are spinning out at the moment. Using misquote's and editing speeches by the Libs. Did they use a Pro-tool media editor to do it??

Labour ads say nothing of what they have done or what they are setting out to achieve in the next 4 years.

I think the ads will come to bite Labour them on the A**..... ;)

Sounds like every TV federal election ad campaign by the Libs when Howard was leader. Don't fool yourself they are both as bad as each other.

Exactly right, It always amuses me when people are so bias that they ignore their own parties negativity during ads. I am sure most people switch off when ads come on. Should just be allowed for 1 day and thats it

I agree with that, even with the light weight and semi-humourous questioning, he just refused to answer the question, even my my Mrs who thinks he's alright said he was evasive.

Any interviews with Politicians are cringe worthy to an extent on those kinds of shows but this was perhaps one of the worst performances I have ever seen. Didn't get his message across at all and just rolled off a whole lot of stats in between some truly terrible jokes. I don’t know how many voters would be watching but it would surely have changed some people’s minds on who to vote for.

Who watches the 7PM project anyway - it's a very, very poor imitation of Graham Kennedy's Coast to Coast and the lacklustre ratings prove that.

Relax, I never said the 7pm was a good show or top rating. Reality is some people do watch it and it was a poor performance.

You're biased, southee.

Seeing that you can't post without mentioning spin, what's your take on your Shadow Treasurer admitting that the claim of saving $1 billion on the RAH is just spin?

(Financial Review - today).

Agreed, she did what Rann should have done. She didn't really mention labour at all so it just seemed os muhc positive. Rann spent most of his time liberal bashing which you can uderstand in an election but has to be the right time and place and in some form of context.
