I use it for my eBay purchases. As far as I'm aware it's probably the safest payment method on the web.

It's set up with my credit card...

Reasonable question. I used to be sceptical about anything that involved the words internet and payment...

Yes, for EBay.

Have paid and been paid using it.

We link it to a credit card and have had no problems at all.

You can set it up with your bank account as well if you want to

You need that if you are going to receive payments. Problem is then every payment you send out defaults to the bank account, not the credit card. You can change it to credit card when you check out a payment.

Anyway A mum, we've used it for several years now to receive and send money and had no problems at all.

I've used it to buy from online stores/companies and to transfer money to people eg last 2 years sending my donation for the Legs forum player sponsorship to one of the mods.

Sorry Hondo but I don't think you do need to link your bank account to receive payments. I also use it to receive payments for online surveys and the money sits in the PayPal account and I can spend it directly from that...doesn't need to go anywhere near my bank account.

Don't have it linked directly to my bank account but do have my debit card (only added recently) linked as well as the pre-pay card I use instead of a traditional credit card.

Sorry, you're right. I remember now I set it up like that because I wanted to get the cash out of my PayPal account after we sold something big on ebay.

I use it to buy things off ebay and use my credit card with it
after I have made my transaction though
I delete my card details off of it as it saves them for the next transaction

Mum, I have it linked to both to buy & sell on ebay. It helps if you don't at any given time have enough avail in the bank to transfer to pay for an item, they deduct the amount from your credit account.
As safe as your house, much safer than having the wife delving into my wallet or hip pocket too I might add!
