Should be a good experience for the young lads and great advertisment for the Hawks.

How did you manage to get that gig?

They approached the club, said that they wanted to go to a 'Hawks' club or something along that line..... the president fell of his chair when he got the call!

What i can say is Shane was great, he had kids hanging off him he was there for approx 2 hours and would have intervied 60 kids. He signed autographs then left! As much as he acts like an immature idiot, its all an act he was great

Agree,he was at Kenilworth during the preseason (As seen on the footy show 2 weeks ago). Was fantastic and luckily enough for the bloke he got to see me run a 3km time trial

Athelstone v Flinders Park - under 5 goals

Rostrevor OC v Adelaide University - Rocs will be too strong i reckon

Pembroke OS v Modbury @ Haslam Oval - as above

Eastern Park v PHOS Camden - EP will be hard to beat at home, well . . .hard to beat at all going on whats been said on the forum so far

Walkerville v St Peter's OC - Cats picked up some really good players, heard SPOC have lost a few. Triple header as well so should be a good day

The parks have been willing to spend back them.

UNI are trying 2 big boys may make the difference.

Modbury you have to back them.

Eastern Park spending and winning (FLAG TIP)

Walkies spent more this year than they have in the last 10 back them in (SPOCS have some good ins but not sure about what they had) .

Of Course it could all be hearsay.

Athelstone v Flinders Park - As at Torrens Valley which is always a difficult task 32 points
Rostrevor OC v Adelaide University - The Blacks to start the season off well with the recruits to leave their mark 24 points - triple header happening here at the happy clappers oval with the c2 grade really kicking the dew off with a 10.15 game.
Pembroke OS v Modbury - The travelling Hawks to do the business 36 points
Eastern Park v PHOS Camden - In a close one - 12 points
Walkerville v St Peter's OC - Least Walkerville doesn't smell like poo at one end and fish at the other any more when its wet. Div 3 GF rematch will have plenty of bite in it. 10 points

Probably couldn't find West Croyden in his Melways, now if he looked up West Croydon, it may have been different.

Wouldn't think EPFC are paying huge amounts of money considering blokes such as Shaun Gatto, Rick Butler, Tom Hamilton and Matty Paul are all EPFC juniors, Zac Millar is the coaches son. The only real player there that had no junior connection to the club would be Craig Taylor but he has mates who played there also.

there is also a few others which we have picked up along the way.. but need less to say the majority of players who perform the best have come through the juniors at eastern park..
