I'm pretty small but I grow big kids. My first was 9lb 2oz and the doctor reckons this one is a fair size too.

Anyway I'm getting off the computer now - it's starting to hurt a LOT and I suppose I'd better get ready to go to hospital. My main worry is that once the pain really takes hold I'm going to start swearing or saying stupid things, I remember with my last child I was in a lot of pain and quite exhausted and out of it, and I said something about 'those ******* garden gnomes' - I don't know what I was on about but the midwife thought I meant her. But that was OK because she was a cow. All the other midwives were fantastic except for that one. I haven't seen her this time round so with any luck she retired. Will get a pic up as soon as we're all back home!

We've sort of picked names but the baby might not look like any of the names so who knows. My son was easy - I wanted to name him Angus and he looked just like an Angus when he came out.

But all jokes aside.... I s'pose whatever was going to happen has happened by now. Hope it went well.
