Now if Fedex wins Race 8, I have managed to pick the quaddie one out, which is currently paying $790.

This will be quite an achievement for myself, not to mention that the winners in the quaddie legs have been: $5.40, $12.30, $4.30.

#1 Ten Years Gone can show some excellent pace in the early stages of the race and is perfectly drawn in box 1. As has been witnessed, doesn't enjoy having to cross runnings on the corner. Has some great Healesville runs and kennel is in form.

#7 Puzzle Blue is in fantastic form and with a few questionable types on her inside, she could quite easily find herself one off the rail besides Ten Years Gone. Based on best performance early speed wise, Puzzle Blue could lead this field, but isn't as strong in the concluding stages as #1 is. And with the sweeping bend, if #7 isn't on the rails, is likely to be run down.

#5 Ellisa's Shadow Hit/Miss. You can't just look at the negatives, you need the positives too. No Box 3, Box 2 is returning to racing after some coursing meetings. #4 Runt only tends to perform when on the outside box and that is at the straight track Healesville. #6 Liberty Babe did not want to race last start, just gave up at the halfway distance and plodded in. So with this in mind, if Ellisas Shadow can HIT at the start, will go close to holding out 7,8 at the bend. And is good enough to win.

#8 Big Rose does have a tough box, but with the speed #7 is likely to show, this will give Big Rose a great lead into the bend. Does tend to find plenty of trouble in his races, but this shouldn't come into the equation here as is nice and wide, has speed underneath to slot in 3rd-4th on the rail.

#6 Liberty Babe - is capable, but didn't want to race last start. Dont like betting on CATS...... those who fail to chase.
#2 Rythmic Oak - did well at coursing, but this field too pacy
#4 Runt- needs outside and doesn't handle the turns too well.

Hard to see anyone knocking off these two favourites #6,7 that is. The public will support them and more than likely the dividends will be skinny in this one.

Box 4 will add more value to the exotics than Box 1 and history tells us this. So if your taking exotics bare in mind, that Box 4 is going to be more beneficial to your return.


And the good thing is in this race. #7 should lead. #6 will begin slowly, swoop around them and flash home. When you lead, you don't have any chance of running into a dead end, or finding trouble. When your weaving through the traffic you do. But Cranbourne does give strong runners a huge chance and you see many speedy types run down in the final 30metres.
There is a reason by Cranbourne 520m being .5 of a second slower than The Meadows.

This race is Radley Bale's to lose. The only problem here being, is that with Cover Ups sensational early speed, will he cut across and check Radley Bale. If not. Then #5 Radley bale should just hit that top gear and round them up nice and early in the piece and win by 4 lengths.

If your wondering why #6 Cover Up is rated so low, is that Cover Up should just fade fade fade in the concluding stages. That is why I don't rate his winning chances at all.

This race is going to change drastically in the final 50m. Purely because there are a couple of greyhounds here who need to lead, but will falter in the final stages, while we have some swooping specialists in #1 Just Mishie who doesn't win often, but gets just as close to winning around this track. Noah Bale and Nalinga Lad should set the pace here, with #2 just off their heels. #6 hasn't run the times of the others yet, but is in McDonald's camp so improvement must be just around the corner.

#7 Five An Dime will also flash home, but she has a HUGE swing in performance so you are never going to know whether she is going to turn up or not. You only have to look at her average time at Cranbourne, compared to her best.

Noah Bale should be at the lead in the early stages and will be strong enough in the finish.
