Yeah thats a fair call Beef. Did not know that was the case

If they are a stronger team than the other possible D sides, sure why not.

Adelaide University (G)
Broadview (D)
Pulteney
Golden Grove
Pooraka
Westminster OS
Salisbury

C5
Plympton
Elizabeth
Mitcham (D) (or West lakes, Prince Alfred)

Adelaide University (H)
Brahma Lodge
Adelaide Lutheran
Hectorville
Blackfriars
North Haven

C6
Golden Grove (D)
Lockleys
Trinity OS
SMOSH West Lakes (D)
Ingle Farm
Prince Alfred OC (D)
Paralowie
Salisbury (D)

penny for your thoughts?

why would golden grove's d grade drop from c5 last year to c6 ?
uni to stay in c6

i'd hazard a guess that smosh/mitcham will be the better d grade sides based solely on last year's form.

There are more C grade sides in C5 then 2009. they have the priority. Simply no room for them.

good thing so far about this comp is that there are 9 teams the same in div 4 and C4, good chance for some triple headers then, only teams not the same are greenacres in div4 and Adel Uni in C4.

The only problem some teams have a "d" grade, so that rules out triple headers.

Thats not really the case, our D grade only played home games at the same ground last season. We played a Grand Final at 10:15am last year so i would not rule anything out. Be a big day if we could get Golden Grove and Salisbury to play all 4 games on one day! Could start the D grade at 10:15 then move along afetr that, A grade would be playing a twighlight game.

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Salisbury's C/Ds played Angle Vale last Saturday, and I believe are playing Paralowie C Grade on March 21st.

Salisbury West have officially pulled out now too, creating the bye.

We had a trial against Elizabeth and won fairly comfortably, played against Wingfield on the weekend. Did ok but probably lost n the day. A and B grade named about 24 each on the weeked so will have about another 6 or so come back down. I think Wingfield were happy with teh game, they sang thier song after the game  never in my 16 years of senior footy have i seen a side sing after winning a trial. If they dont either fight with each other or the opposition they will do ok, i think they are C2 though, tough ask i think.
