10 Killer Wombats! 1918 - Ditto in ruck, trade needed in defence with Sloane out for 5-6 weeks and no genuine replacements on the bench. I know the olsd saying is get Ablett into your team at at costs but the golden rule of supercoach is to never pick Presti. PS Brogan is likely to miss this week with injury.

Great write up! i have already been informed of my rookie mistake with presti, but you live and learn  i know that the best coaches wont trade this week, but as you pointed out with sloane i dont have much choice, hopefully i can make it through the next couple of weeks with no more. looking forward to putting up more of putting more of a showing this week! good luck all!

11 BloodnTars 1898 - What is the obsession with Maguire? I guess that is what splits Divvy 6 from the premier division.

Thats a bit harsh. At just over a 100k a bit hard to pass up.

Will use him as cash cow and upgrade him for something better when his price starts to rise.

I agree.
He is a good player, I don't know where he is getting this bad rep from.

Just made my first trade, but had no choice.
I guess realistically what he is saying is that he won't do a Grimes or a Broughton on us, we should have picked a cash cow that will 4x our money not go up by double???
But i'm still sticking with you Goose.

Great write up Doggie. I second that nomination for Captaincy. Long time dream team player but first time SC player. Will be interesting to see how I go as the season wears on.

Numbers and injuries over previous years are not the best references for him.

Here we go again...

Division VI Round 2 summary

1 (+3) wonder elephants 2183 – Great score, could have been better apart from some unexpected low performances in the forward line.

2 (+6) Longwood Lions 2159 – Impressive, performer of the week. Will be hoping for Rockliff or Macaffer to get a call up to open up forward line options

3 (-2) THE BLOODS 1986 – Looking for a lift in the midfield from Trengove & Scully. Playing Adelaide this week good chance their numbers will increase.

4 (-1) Nutkickers 2014 – Trade required in defence with no active bench players. Forward line was carried by 2 players, needs a lift from the other 5.

5 (+2) BenjisBeasts 2010 – Expect Hille to score lowly again this week due to the karma gods. Good vision with your forward line selections to be able to cover Brennan’s suspension.

6 (-4) Leisa's Lovelies 1877 – Who is you going to fill the hole in your forward line? Duncan, Peterson, Hitchcock or Gumbleton.

7 (-2) Stats Enough 1868 – Stuffed up the captaincy and Cloke may pay the ultimate price. Will it be Cloke or Tippett for Brown? No interst gathering in the bank so might need to spend.

8 (+2) Killer Wombats! 2020 – Presti getting injured is a blessing in disguise. Scarlett’s returns are a bit of a concern considering his price. To trade or not to trade?

9 (-3) Jim's TigerRoos 1796 – Sub par return from most players with the exception of Barlow. Need a lift across the board.

10 (+1) BloodnTars 1932 – Jacob Surjan will need a miracle to play this week. No need to worry as Mary Mackillop was in the crowd and fixed him up before he got on the stretcher.
Maguire is performing beautifully in defence and a side can be built around him!

11 (+1) Knuckle Sandwich 1786 - Great vsision to select a backline who are all playing, eases the pain of Hurn missing 2 matches. As dependent on Tippett in the ruck as Adelaide.

12 (+1) The Goonies 1798 – Want to free up $500 salary cap? Do a Lorena Bobbitt.
Cox is struggling.

13 (-4) HorsePlay 1628 – It is a pity you can only do 2 trades per week. Might want to offload before you take a hit on players values.

14 (+1) The Glory Shed 1817 – Improved performance. Will be paying the price throughout the season for not fine tuning the side with Round 1 teams.

15 (-1) Prestige Worldwide 1576 – Bye, bye Presti! I would be staying local until you put in credible performances then go global.

16 (0) Ankles United 1480 – Too many of your players need to read their price tags and play to it to avoid a fire sale.

You are in luck Longwood Lions with both Macaffer & Rockliff selected.
Houli has won a recall however Howlett has been dropped or rested.

Just burned two trades to set myself up to make some money.

Andrew Walker OUT
Barlow IN

Bazza Hall OUT
Ballantyne IN

Might be too much too early.
Time will tell

That looks like a dodgy trade. If Hall was a keeper why did you trade him? If Hall is not a keeper why are you trading him for another bloke who probably isn't a keeper either? Also, remember that Freo play Geelong and St Kilda next week. Bazza could outscore Ballantyne over the next two rounds.

Yes that has eased the pressure on big bad Barry I can sit tight and save the trades.
I think REB is right give the big fella some time, if I was going to do anything it was to free up some cash with Peterson.

I have a feeling that Bazza is in for a big one this week under the roof of Ethihad against Hawthorn coming off a tough game.

My motives were that Hall needs a fair score to even break even money wise, and Ballantyne would need a shocker in the minus area to lose value.
So based on that, regardless of what Hall makes this week, he will drop in value, Ballantyne will increase, I have the spare coin from making the trade and then I will upgrade Ballantyne to a top 3 premium.

I hope that makes sense, otherwise I may have just made a mistake!!

wonder elephants team for round 3
backs:goddard , enright , goodwin , waters , bock ,kennely , hunt
mids: barlow , okeeffe (capt) , ablett , boak , mackay , moles
ruck: sandilands , tippett
forwards : reiwoldt , brown , goodes , westoff , dangerfield , tex walker ,duncan

emerg: goose maguire , trengove , gumby
in J.BROWN , BARLOW
out hall , a. walker

had to trade these to in both will go up in value this week and hall and a walker both will drop . even if barlow drops of a bit from here he would still be worth more than walker . plus he freed up some coin for j brown .. bazza will probebly drop in value this week and i may look at trading him back in at a later and cheaper price .tippett better fire soon or hes the next one on the block . good luck all
