The Mawson Lakes Football Club would like to thank Brahma Lodge FC, Hackham FC and West Croydon FC for the trial matches played this year. Not only were all games competitive, but played in good spirits and we thank each club for the use of their facilities. We wish them all well in their respective Leagues this season.

We'd also like to wish the players well that have left this season. Scott Mumford (Athelstone), Will Howie (Study Commitments), Kane Zilm (Kadina), Lachlan Newbold (Kadina), Robert Eckersley (Golden Grove), Adam Allison (Retired), Mick Lipapis (Retired), Chris Lipapis (Work/Study Commitments), and Vuthy Ung (Personal Reasons) all played 'A' grade at some stage last season and we thank them for their contribution to our club.

The Club is now looking forward to the history making day on Saturday week when a new era begins at Mawson Lakes Hotel Oval. St.Pauls Old Scholars will become the Mawson Lakes FC for the first time against Tea Tree Gully. April 10th will also bring about the 300th Senior Game of club legend Damien 'Moose' Emery. The longest serving Saint, Emery will probably line up in the goal square in the early match and the club thanks him for his outstanding contribution to our club.

Yeah Loxton wasn't the most successful trip, however it was expected rocking up with 19 players which only included 2 regular A graders. however the B grade lads put up a bit of fight againts paralowie when we put the first 3 or 4 goals, but then they started to play a bit and we found it hard to Stop Barnesy. as for the ANgle Vale game it got changed and knowone told us until 10 mins before the game.

As for other Games

We had a hit out against Kangarilla last tuesday, and were pretty much pantsed by a very good side who looks close to the side they had in 08 where they won the flag by 200 points.

Yes, I done a mischief in his last trial match for CU and has a possible broken foot. I cant leap, cant use my 'blistering' bursts of speed :P etc.... is heading to Sportsmed SA in the next week to find out how bad it is... If the injury requires surgery or a cast I wont play this season because I cant take time off work. Big loss for all my critics... They will have to find someone else to bag :(

I did ask at the BBQ yesterday when informed about Mr M's injury how it did occur, I thought it may have occured chasing a hard ball get or applying his famous frontal pressure or may have even occured taking a dive down one of the hills at Houghton trying to perform a smother but then was informed it occured after Mr M made a mistake and in frustration kicked the point post. This cannot possible be true can it Mr M
