Untapped I think you are a bit confused with your genders. you better go and check your partner and see if you are batting for the right team. :?

So you were beaten in all 3 'A' grade games by girls? Or where you referring to the 3 'B' grade games we beat you(prior to finals). M

So your saying your B's were flat track bullies who couldn't handle the heat of finals when they were comprehensively flogged. Actually that sounds like the A grade as well

Word around Kimba is not glowing for LS I can tell you that much. Any future young kids will definitely not be going to that club, they stick together up our way.

KWF is spot on, if a player wants to leave let them go and wish them well. At least you may be some chance of getting them back. Kempy may begrudgingly play this year with his heart not in it, but after this treatment he will definitely go at seasons end, and probably take a few mates with him.

Rangers are more than confident of getting Carl back in a couple of years

i think Ramblers took a pretty sensible approach with a couple boys wanting to have a crack
in Lincoln wished them all the best now their back for 2010.
I saw a lot of tall timber out at Ravendale last night Semmler looks like he has some
reasonable hacks in the paddock. Im keen to wander done on Thurs and Fri and have a look,
I wonder whether the Rangers and Demons might have a contingent taking a peek :)

I agree with all that re sending off players in a congenial way in the hope that they know they are welcome back if their tenure at the new club does not work out. It's only commonsense to me. When you look at the players that have left MR in recent years (Hull x 2, Smith, Semmler, Wagner etc etc) I would personally like to see everyone of them back at some stage in the future either as a player, supporter or whatever. In most cases their history with our Club is extensive and are they are held in high regard by the Club.

And KWF I would have thought that W and MR would be derelict in their approach to this year if they didn't "have a peek". Is there a tall tree nearby that we can lookout from with our binoculars. ;) ;)

Don't put me in the Boston basket, I don't even live in Lincoln.

Personally i cant see either Hull's or the Wagners ever going back the marble range. Rangers didnt exactly let them go peacefully!

Why wouldn't you be in the Boston basket? :o

As for the mighty roosters, that latter comment will soon be unavailable for use.

Enough of the crap anyway, how do you think the pre-season cup will go?

I can see Roosters winning it, Malles will be unpredictable. Bostons will be at about 70% with still 3 big names not playing
and everyone will find out how much souths will stuggle this year.

I don't know re Wagner, but if even half the stories I heard when the Hull's left are true, I doubt they'd be back...

You'd be in the know, though... ;)

jesse kemp will play for lincoln south in 2010. it is true that he wanted to come and play with his mates at cougars, however he signed a contract that is binding and lincoln south have done nothing wrong. we did want to negotiate with souths however they refused and that is their right to do so under a contract agreement.
the dealings i have had with souths football director have been civil and professional (although i am still unhappy with their b grade coach). we have wished kempy all the best for season 2010 and he now is happy it is resolved but i believe he will think long and hard about signing another contract.
i want to make it clear that souths cleared jace rodda and dale rayson without a problem and kimba has done the same with dillon eates. we can now all move on and talk about something else in football without bagging every club that tries to recruit someone or refuses a clearance. we all must remember that footballers come and go from every club and if i hear of somebody that maybe on the move it is my job as coach of a footy club to try and make the phone call because if i don't there is a fair chance he could end up playing againest us. if he says no, fair enough we move on.

Agreed - well said djd =D>

KWF - can you make that chair one of those with a compartment for a can on the armrest B-)

BP - I have spoken about this on this forum before. I am just making a point from where I sit which is I would have them back anytime they wished to return. If there are others who think otherwise, thats their perogative. And if you look at things from a wider perspective, isn't the BFC, and the league for that matter, better for the Hulls and Smithy to have gone over when they did. Them going as well as other initiatives taken by the club have lifted the profile and standing of BFC as well as their onfield performance. Accordingly you don't anymore go out and play them and expect to get a 20 goal win. Marble Range have survived without them and BFC have improved - has to be at least half good doesn't it.

Noone was more disappointed than me when young Yoey went, but I still talk to him and shake his hand when I see him. A good lad whom, once again, I would welcome back to MR anyday. I am not sure of anyone there who would not. Christ the lad got a job he wanted which will set himself for life - f**k footy if it has to be any different. I suggest your comments regarding him are more to do with the paranoia evryone seems to have with a certain employer offering jobs, in which case MR are not the only ones who have felt that. It's a fact of life - get on with it
