1R: J.Griffin - P.Thomas - I.Callinan

INT: (from) R.Cochrane, A.Duncan, S.Dutschke, J.Mackenzie, D.Schell

That is a very strong lineup and hard for Westies to beat at Elizabeth. :D

yeah james gowans definatly won't play and i would think Daniel Schell will be the other to miss meaning ins and outs are

INS
-S.Dutschke
-J.Griffin
-R.Cochrane

OUTS
-J.Gowans
-M.Westoff
-C.Milne

The ins probably outweigh the outs. Imho i think the club would probably have preffered to bring Dutschke in through the ressies but with both Gowans out we lack abit of hardness around the ball therefore Dutschke is a must.

Three fairly big outs in Sylvester, Schmidt and Ferguson you would think, all 3 are very capable players and would get a spot in all other 8 teams best 21.

Firstly I don't have round by round matches from 2005 and 2008. I was able to work out 2008 from the SANFL website (whether or not it's correct is another matter but I will assume so) at least one played in every match then.
Ok, Chris debuted in Round 2 2000, and James in Round 10; so starting from Round 2 2000, the only match I could come up with is Round 9 2006 - Central defeated Norwood 16.17 to 11.7.That excludes 2005 however, but I doubt both missed the same match because Chris played 21 out of 22 (James played 16)

Phew.....what a relief......thank god we don't rely on these two blokes ;)

Look at Centrals 1st Ruck, Griffin, Thomas & Callinan. That's ALMOST an AFL 1st Ruck, very impressive! Don't want to go too tall, as it looks like it will be wet.

Who is Birss? Anyway, people can give their opinions. We will see tomorrow but, more importantly, at the END OF THE SEASON.

Who is Birss?

Don't follow footy, centurion :?

It wasn't an opinion either , it was fact and has nothing to do with tomorrow or the end of the season.

With 3 of our starting 6 defenders out (Ferguson, Silvester, Hartlett) I am concerned that tomorrows game may be a blow out. I hope Im wrong!

You can have them 3, i know which three i had would rather have the ones with around 10 SANFL premiership medals between them compared to the ones with zero in total

Got my copy of the Budget early and despite being named to start in the centre, the footy Budget doesn't have a number 28 - J.Gowans listed. His brother Chris isn't there either.
