Glad this game is on TV, might have a watch. I'll be keeping an eye on Gum to see how he bounces back from his 3 kick game (nice tagging by Stribling).
I think the Bays will win by about 4 or 5.

The facts are that Sturt will have to take a huge step up this weekend to overcome a confident and wining structure of Glenelg. I don't think Sturt are too far off getting it together. Obviously South have improved and North rebounded after a bad round 1. I'll be looking forward to a great contest and hopefully a Double Blues win.
Leave you crap at childcare.

im glad you have said this - i thought i was the only one who was completely bored by all this rubbish - now on 5th page with only a couple of posts about the game, which is disappointing when the game should be a good game and good advertisement for the sanfl

Quick tangential question: Didn't this happen once at a Sturt junior game? Some disgruntled resident thought his mutt was more important than a SANFL game?

Media coverage for this game:

ABC TV from 2pm - 5pm

Plus a replay screen at the ground for the first time in the SANFL.

And regular 'Around The Ground' updates on this game with the LifeFM coverage...

A true test of character for the Sturt Footy Club.

Glenelg's last loss at Unley was Round 2, 2007.

Expect a fiercely contested game with the result in doubt until the last Quarter.

Sturt MUST win or Season 2010 will be fast slipping away. Sturt by 13 points and Chambo to kick 6.

Bays by 21 points. Toddy Grima to kick 5.

Will hopefully be taking my old man to his first Bays game in a couple of years (country based). Hopefully a great game for it.

I think it may have happened at a reserves game when the league was being played elsewhere (double header perhaps?) so the oval wasn't all fenced off as it usually is.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
