You think I'm the only biased poster on this topic?

You're telling me that North posters aren't biased about Alleway

I think I'm actually the only poster who actually has quoted facts to back up my argument.

PS: Big Phil has started a thread for this discussion.

R & B, you would have to be the most biased poster on this whole site. It is clear that you have blind faith in everything that is West Adelaide and I applaud you for it. =D>

What is clear is that all West Adelaide players are best in their position in the competition and Andy Collins is the best coach and a master manipulator of all of those around him including your good self!

I wish we had him at South when we had the chance a few years back.

I like this one better.

Alleway is ahead of White. Alleway has had one bad game this year, and he was no orphan that night.

Phil,

On the stats Radio had Alleway with 28 hit outs (I think it was you who said it?)
Stewart only kicked 1 point according to me, but if you add up the points on the stats they come to 15 anyway.

I thought you won free kick for a rushed behind these days. I don't recall North getting any frees and just on that, If you do get a free, where do you take it from ?

West got one Saturday and it was taken from the behind line on that difficult angle.

PS: Thanks klaan, but the only West player I've said is the best in his position is Ferguson. I was laughed at for that (and still am), but most serious football judges agree with me. You're making up the rest, mate ;)

It gives me the opportunity to compare Ferguson and Alleway's recent form.

Ferguson - State CHB and 2nd best on ground. Alleway?

Ferguson - Polled way ahead of Alleway or any other KPP in last year's MM. Alleway polled in only one game.

Round 1, 2010?

At one stage, a while ago, Alleway may well have been one of the very best KPP's, but I think his form over the last year or so has dropped off, possibly because he looked to have been playing injured. If he gets back to top form, he may well be again, but he certainly hasn't been for a long time. Given the choice between Alleway, Ferguson and Chambers, I'd think most would have Alleway 3rd.

I'm not sure he's even the best KPP at North Adelaide, let alone the League.

:D if you think it's Alleway

Magarey Medal votes is possibly one of the worse ways to compare players.

Was interesting to hear Clint Alleway speak on the 5AA SANFL show last night. He mentioned that young Brad Robertson for the Magpies was a fomer student of his (Clint is a teacher at Salisbury High School) but also made mention that one his opponents, Magpies debutant Jamie Solly, was actually a current student of his.

Speaking of debutants, Scott Lycett was impressive on debut and at 203cm has very good skills and works well around the ground. I agree with Jeremy Clayton, who said on the same 5aAA show that he will go on to bigger things in the AFL.

I wonder if the Maggies had got up yesterday whether or not Mr Alleway would have marked young Jamie's work in a different way !!? ( ;) )

It's not all that often, I would think, that a teacher and student would play against each other in league football ?

Pretty sure Mellor played against Didak when he was teaching him at blackfriars.

Nah, if it was Jamie that is at Salisbury High then it was him who Clint was talking about on radio last night, because I do remember him actually saying "I teach at Salisbury High"...

i am pretty sure that in Heals last year at Centrals he was a Teacher and David Kellett was one of his students, so they were teacher and student plus Team mates
