With regards to next year being a carnival year. What is the chance that the team will be picked on talent alone or will it be filled by the regulars. How Did a bloke like Marshall not get a game. Agreed he is a bit of a knob but no doubt he has talent to burn.

I agree. Marshall is one of the best batters in the comp, so if he was putting his hand up he would have been given a game. Im pretty sure you would want your best 11 playing whether you like them or not.

I would have to agree I can not believe that Colin did not get the Div one GF.

Auto From all reports Fitzroy wont have to worry about any of this next year.

pffft it must just come with the name george! richie was unavailable for the games this year and just on that there were a heap of blokes that wernt available hence why the teams were picked the way they were and if you have a close look at the last two games i believe the side played really well.

its all well and good to say he shouldnt be there, how did he get a game blah blah blah but at the end of the day who are they going to replaced with? add to that if you say this bloke from where ever or this other bloke well lets look at the facts training nights were well known when and where? yes trainings were posted on this site? yes yet the numbers at training were piss poor! YES

so in closing for all these blokes that want to sit back and knock the blokes that get out to training and bust there a$$ and put there heart and soul into winning for OUR assocition
how bout you get of your a$$ and do somthing to help out or make your self availabile but if you just want to sit back and knock people well go and get fugged!
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

well carey you must feel better after all that mate. ;)
and I do agree with you . people want to bag other people but where are they when we need them. IM GUESSING AT HOME WATCHING THE TELETUBBIES. SO if you guys think you can do better with the picking of the sides then we should expect a big turnout at trainings from now on ? when new season starts. or r u just going to hide behind your computers and pretend to know what actually happens on a cricket field.

I hold the record for most games played without getting a fielding vote! 13 or 14 years of cricket it took to finally get my first fielding votes this year...i gave a speech at presentations thanking all those that helped me during my career.

Rumour time...Pidge has started pre season already. Word is he's keen to overtake Auto as the number 14th best bowler at Fitzroy.

Another rumour...the executive is to finally submit to popular opinion and have a Player of the Year award. It is to be called the MVP award. Unfortunately Crows fans have a head start on claiming the trophy as their cricket pre-season is going to start very early this year.

P.S. another rumour...A geographical survey of Fitzroy Oval's hump has discovered it actually meets the criteria to be classified a hill. It further recognises that if Fitzroy's Oval was spread out to the same dimensions as Mount Lofty, Fitzroy's oval would actually be taller. BB has started the ball rolling for official recognition while also proposing a sky lift to the centre wicket.
