Yesterday had the potential to get very much out of control i'm just glad some people had some cool heads.

Always been the same out there, thats why they struggle to get good players or keep them. ..... Location , location, location

Get real mate. 90% of Ingle farm own their own home and work and don't have baby's before their 20. Take a drive through both, not even similar
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts....

Takes two to tango and your runner would have not been bumping a 16 year old kid, would he! I think both clubs had things they would regret!

You must confuse bumping with him putting his body in the middle of 2 players trying to separate them as they were having a crack at each other while they were leaving the field...trust me champ we having nothing to regret. ;)

Hey DJ think you need to make a decision where your heart and loyalties lie, state HV yet always on here defending or justifying CU's actions, which club do you really want to be involved in?

Things happen on the field in the heat of the moment and should stay on the field, if it's that serious maybe you should report it to the league (Uni always do). Seem to recall all nicey, nicey last year with comments towards houghton and then after you played them nothing but allegations of a similar nature towards the club and players.

Definitely don't think that you guys are saints by name or by nature. All clubs have their moments over incidents no good bagging evryone, just get over and on with it.

Worst is you have to play them again in the second round and all this will do is create an even bigger issue that can potentially blow out of proportion on and off the field for all concerned.

Definately don't profess to be Saints by nature BB we have our moments like anyone else, I love banter & sledging more than anyone was merely stating some stuff that happened yesterday crossed the line & we expressed this to CU.

I can assure you BB I didn't lose sleep about it last night I was thinking about The Raggies as soon as the final siren went yesterday :D

Just for a bit of balance...a particular lakers player in the B grade was intent on knocking someone out all day...A few wild fist swings eventually ended in a send off...Lets not pretend that the lakers are a team of angels....

As i said before i know we're no angels...I didn't see much of the B grade but have been told and can assure you that player has been spoken to by the club and been dealt with, he will not be playing for a while I don't condone that sort of sh!te.

2/5 this week  Did anyone get close to 5 winners? Modbury and Uni perhaps showing they're the real deal, Angle Vale 'aren't' the easybeats and maybe Flinders Uni are?

Mawson Lakes Saints headed further North on Saturday to take on the relegated Central United at Mofflin Reserve. A big crowd was in attendance, which included plenty of young families, to support their beloved 'Units'. However it was the visitors who carried the favourtism for this bout. Mawson Lakes were still without their Co-Captain Travis Smits, so Coach Geoff Riddle made a surprise move bringing up former Defender Greg Kels and putting him in the forward line. This move excited Kels, so much in fact, that there was a grin on his face from end of Thursday Night selection till half way through the 2nd quater when the runner sent him back to Full Back. The Saints forward line still worked a treat on Saturday as Ivan Novosel combined with evergreen Steven Elmendorp on frequent occasions. Novosel was well fed by midfielders Lachlan Kennett, 'Birthday Boy' Nathan Trevor Bruce-Gordon and Clinton Stagg, while ruckman Myles Cooper was dominant. The energetic Cooper even managed to pull off his own version of a 'Nick Natiauni', tapping it to himself, before delivering downfield. In a mirror image of last weeks game for the Saints, they managed to take on a handy lead at the major break, before taking the foot off the pedal to hold on for a 6 goal win. The straight kicking Novosel was to be the difference between the two sides, and the Units were unable to restrict his influence on the match. For the Units, they were best served by their wingmen Bradley Woodward and Daniel Cook while Adrian Cortvriend was handy with 2 majors. Central United showed enough to suggest they'll be no 'easybeats' this year, and may worry sides, particularly on their home deck. The Mawson Lakes Saints face a tough battle this week at home, against the only side they couldn't topple last year in Athelstone.
